Responsibilities include:

- Part of Merger & Acquisition Team for Acquisition of Chevron Pakistan's Fuel Business. CIC date 01 July 2015.

- Process Owner SAP FI & CO module involved in business process documentation, gap analysis, system design, roll out and integration of system for the acquired entity till completion of merger. also served as FI CO key user in SAP roll out at Total Parco in 2010

- Accounts Receivable Management (Monthly collection volume of approximately PKR 12 Billion)

- Funds & Liquidity Management (borrowing arrangements, cash management, general bank dealings, dealer financing arrangements, L/C customers, foreign currency transaction, rate negotiation)

- Daily borrowing position, Weekly Cash flow projections on 3 months rolling basis and Monthly Treasury Reports

- Investment management

- Insurance

- Budgeting & Long Term Plan

- Post Investment Reviews

- Credit control (credit limit determination and monitoring of exposures)

- General customers and suppliers related issues

- Preparing and communicating price revisions based on monthly rate reviews by OGRA

- Risk Management

- Supervise customer accounts, bank and GL accounts reconciliation

- Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual foreign / local reporting packages

- Implementation and Roll out of Total Group's SWIFT based banking platform

- Liaison with external auditors, Tax and Regulatory Authorities

Responsibilities included:

- Accounts payable management Bank dealings (imports, payments and general banking)

- Sales Tax returns preparation, filing and dealings with sales tax department

- Maintaining proper books of accounts

- Preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual foreign / Local reporting packages

- Filing of monthly income tax and other specific OMC related reports.

- Inventory management and valuation

- Liaison with External auditors for conducting annual audit and various certification assignments

- Ensuring proper application of internal controls over financial transactions

One of few local companies currently engaged in the manufacturing of basic pharmaceutical raw materials. The company is embarking on two ambitious projects with combined startup cost of Rs. 300 million for ascorbic acid and clinical drug marketing.

As a financial consultant I was engaged in:

Business Process Reengineering and implementation of restructuring plan for the existing operations. The improved systems have helped company in doubling its turnover within months. Preparation of financial feasibilities for above mentioned projects. Managing arrangements with financial stakeholders.
