The SeaBird Exploration group has played an active role in the seismic market since 1996 and is a professional supplier of 20, source, shallow water 20/30 and ocean bottom 4C/4D service to oil companies and contractors worldwide.
SeaBird Exploration provides 4C/4D seismic acquisition based on SeaBird's autonomous Node system called the CASE System. SeaBird provides feasibility studies, modeling, survey planning and acquisition, processing and interpretation of seismic data. As part of the Supply Chain and Logistics Team my duties and responsibilities include but are not restricted to the following:

- Sets up the Project Team Office, meetings with yard management, on site team and coordinates all aspects of the project as per project plan and instructions of Project Superintendent, Project Manager and Vessel Captain.
- Set up Vendor list as per project requirement. meet up local vendors and service providers negotiate terms and conditions favorable to the company and maintain good working relationships with all of them.
- Prepares Requisitions as per Project requirement. Both Service and Material. Obtaining a 3 tiered quotation for price and lead time comparison. Also acquires alternative suppliers / materials if original requirement is not available or phased out already.
- Prepares Purchase Orders according to the specific quantity and quality as per budget set in the Project. Records all agreements including lead times and try to cut the lead time to the shortest possible time to achieve better delivery and time management.
- Ensures all orders were placed and received by suppliers and confirms delivery date. If delivery onsite is not available pick up is arranged and coordinate with nominated Freight Forwarder.
- Receives and files all Purchase Order Documents and check all items delivered together with the Store Keeper once materials were on hand. Any discrepancies are reported to Project Team and dealt with the supplier directly.
- Keeps all records of meetings, offers and any document related to the Project, maintains back up files of all documents and acts as PA to the Project Team and prepare all reports as per instruction of Project Team.

- Receives and process all requisition coming from handled vessels, obtaining a 3 tiered quotation as per specified quantity and quality. Place all approved orders through the system, Maintains close contact with suppliers and port agents for follow ups and confirms with suppliers of delivery dates and arranges pick up and shipping to designated port with nominated Freight Forwarder.
- Ensures that all materials are delivered on designated port, follow up with the vessel for accurateness of delivery, process claims from vessel of unacceptable goods delivered and wrong items sent.
- Source out new Suppliers and Service Providers in all partsof the world, actively participates in Vendor Vetting andbuilding of Supplier Data Base.
- Follow up disbursements regarding purchased goods andservice rendered in all port call of the vessel. Verify invoicesagainst orders and report variation.
- Performs special tasks and projects assigned by SupplyChain Manager such as Vendor Data Bose Build Up and
- Completion, Vendor Vetting, Designing of Project GiveAways and other related projects.
- Keep record of all files pertaining to vessel handledincluding but not limited to certifications, service reports material offers, system upgrade offers, new parts catalog, port agreements, security notices and certification requirements and instruction from Operations Managerand Vessel Superintendent.
