• Responsible for planning and scheduling, Repair, Maintenance and modification of existing systems for reliable operation and better performance.
• Repair & Testing of JF-17 Thunder Avionics systems (DVR, WMMC, EMMC, LWS, GAHRS, IFF, SHUD, SMS, INS, ACB, AAP and KLJ-7 Airborne Radar etc.) using different types of Generic Testers and STTE.
• Supervise all stages of Avionics Production and Testing from bare PCB (Printed Circuit Board) to complete built up system according to WP (Work Procedure) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) to meet the target.
• Materials and spares management for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Arrangement of “On-Job Training (OJT)” for newly inducted manpower and “Refresher Training” for the manpower of maintenance department.
• Testing & Troubleshooting of Avionics systems (Analog, Digital and RF).
• Functional/In-Circuit Testing of PCBs with Generic Testers (Teradyne S9100, Teradyne Se-8862, Flaying Probe).
• Implementation and checking of EPA (ESD Protected Area).
• Stuffing and Fabrication of Multi Layer, Rigid and Flexible Printed Circuit Board, Soldering and De-soldering of THT (Through Hole Technology) and SMD (Surface Mount Device) Components.
• Operation of PME (DMM, LCR Meter, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, Milli Ohm Meter, Mega Ohm Meter, Programmable Power supplies, Timer Counter, Arbitrary Waveform Generator, Delta Scan, Mini FIB, Channel cards, Insulation Meter and Frequency Generator).
• Testing of IC’s (SMD, THT, Analog, Digital and Hybrid).
• Maintenance & Operation of Radar Processors Transmitters & Receivers.
• Troubleshooting of system power supplies.
• Testing and Troubleshooting of Low, High and Extra High Voltage Modules, Chambers Testing of Avionics systems (Thermal, Humidity and Vibration).
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance of C size and VXI Chassis.
• Operation and Maintenance of VXI Cards (AWG, DMM, Timer Counter, FIB, Delta Scan, CC, CC2a, VXI-VP, PRISM and P/S Card).
