• Correct, safe and efficient locating of underground utilities including telecommunications, electric, power, cable TV, gas, water and sewer systems.
• Read and interpret utility maps / prints to identify the type and size of underground utilities.
• Responsible for topography, mapping of points on AutoCAD, quantity (cut & fill), building survey and road survey.
• Coordinate with the design team at the earliest for site adaptation, assist the MEP team with the points for their services beforehand, assist the Civil department in all possible ways for completion of work with minimal or no wastage of materials.
• Establish fixed points for use in making maps using geodetic and engineering instrument.
• Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to survey.
• Conduct research in surveying and mapping methods, using knowledge of techniques of photogrammetric map compilation and electronic data processing.

• Analyze survey objectives and specification in order to prepare survey proposals or direct other surveys proposal preparation.
• Adjust survey instrument in order to maintain their accuracy.
• Plan and conduct ground survey designed to established baseline, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data including measurement and calculations conduct at survey sites.
• Train assistants and helper and direct their work in such activities as performing surveys or drafting maps.
