• Review plans and drawings in accordance with specifications, codes and standards. Conduct activities and inspection in accordance to Project Quality Assurance Manual and Quality Control Inspection Plan. Monitor daily discipline activities and verifies compliance to project procedures, specifications and standards. Identify quality problems, reject non-conforming items and initiate, recommend or provide solutions to the problems with customer sanction / approvals through designated channels.
• Control further processing of non-conforming items, deficiencies or unsatisfactory conditions until rectification and any remedial action is approved. Conduct random surveillance on operator's qualifications, tools and equipment, working practices as well as storage and preservations. Prepare daily inspection documents and final acceptance documents prior to project completion. Maintain close working relationship with the construction personnel.
• As Per Standards, Specifications, Instrument Calibration Method of Statement & As Per Approved Project Drawings Supervised, Inspected & Witnessed Instrument and electrical Cable Duct Bank, Cable Pulling from RIB to J.B & Control Room and RGS conduit, stanchion of instrument devices, Marshalling Panel, Junction Boxes installation, mounting of instrument devices such as pressure, level, temperature transmitter, RTD and thermocouple, pressure, Level, Flow and temperature switch & Control valves. Calibration of Transmitters, Control valves, Switches of all parameters like pressure, level, temperature, flow.
• Inspection & Witness of cable Megger & continuity test before Terminating Cable & then Cable Termination Check to verify exact termination point of each cable core as per Approved wiring Drawing, Core Marker & tightness of cable.
• Anything not as per Standards or Specification then making Surveillance or Non Conformance Reports.
• Work on Pre & Final turnover punch.
• Ensure that all necessary inspections as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) are attended.
• Ensure that the production quality being offered for inspection meets the clients requirements.
• Ensure that all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Company Integrated Management Systems (IMS) are documented and recorded.
• Ensure that the QEIL system is updated with any and all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Company Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
• Coordinate with the client representative to ensure inspections are carried expediently.
• Coordinate the Generation of client Requests for Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection Points.
• Attend all necessary inspections as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Inspect the production quality to establish if the client requirements are being achieved.
• Shall perform a variety of inspection functions under supervision
• Record and document any and all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Company Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Update the QEIL system with any and all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Company Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Coordinate with the client representatives to ensure that inspections are carried out expediently.
• Generate client Requests for Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection points.
• Preparation of vendor document and inspection of Instrument and Electrical material receiving.
• Co-ordination and communication with vendor at all project stages.
• Testing and pre-commissioning of breakers, lighting panel boards and poer panel boards.
• Preparation of documents for testing and commissioning.
# Experience in Instrumentation Maintenance and handling Projects.
#Have handled installation, testing & commissioning of various instruments.
#Worked with Siemens S7-315, S7-412 Programmable Logic Controllers, Eurotherm Suite SCADA System & Honeywell TDC 3000 Distributed Control System.
