• Key Area of responsibility is local Purchases which are on cash basis for all departments in Emirates Glass as well as Lumiglass
• In the absence of Purchase Coordinator, assume handover and take responsibility to accomplish the given tasks.
• Check every day assigned MRF in the system and act on Priority basis based on funds available
• Make Inquiries over phone/ mail with prospective sources and negotiate prices
• Scan the market place to find the best deals on cash basis.
• Convert Cash Purchases to Credit Purchases by negotiations.
• Maintain Sufficient Petty Cash balance as per agreement with Finance
• Submit the Invoices to finance immediately and get replenishment of amount spent
• Assist the Procurement team in urgent matters by making enquiries and Purchase orders as instructed
• Collect Materials from suppliers and perform duties as a delivery Personnel
• Perform urgent duties for sales and marketing whenever required and visit the supplier and deliver the material back to sales & marketing team
• Procure urgent requirement for stores and production and avoid nonstop issuance and nonstop production
• Procure materials for IT, HR, Finance dept. as requested.
• Ensures the material purchased are in line with Request made for the quality/brand etc.
• Takes necessary approval when buying alternative material
• Reports to VP SCM on the Cash Amount spend per month and per supplier
