• Maintain incident and injury free work place. Cooperate and coordinate liaison with Government Agencies, Regulatory Authorities, 7E Partners, Contractors and subcontractors in such a way that HSE compliance is in accordance with current laws, regulations, permits and certifications.
• To provide field support for the coordination of all QHSE related activities within 7E and to ensure the systematic implementation of the QHSE-MS
• Promoting the awareness and implementation of Company Policies and Procedures.
• Submit daily, weekly and monthly QHSE reports required by the Operation.
• Act as a member of the site Emergency Response (ER) Team in accordance with requirements identified in 7E ER NSOP-306. No site security procedure?
• Ensure all contractor and company personnel on site(s) are made aware of Company Policies and Procedures. This may involve onsite training sessions. Present and/or facilitate any HSE Training which may be required on site. Act as site liaison with Contractor QHSE personnel
• Maintenance of action tracking field registers and databases at site Implementing and reviewing QHSE initiatives, plans and schedules. Coordinating the hazard identification process.
• Organising and conducting ER drills in accordance with the requirements of the ER SOP.
• Provide advice and otherwise ensure the scheduled maintenance of Fire and Gas detection equipment - philosophy and layouts.
• Routine technical review and update of QHSE documentation.
• Undertaking and/or assisting with site QHSE inspections.
• Participating in Risk Assessments, Incident Investigations, Inspections and Audits as required.
• Facilitating and reporting on-site Safety Meetings.
• Providing the necessary data required to be entered into the Safety database (Near misses/ incident types) in the system.
• Assisting Projects HSE Manager to develop and implement field QHSE programs.
• Act as 7E Site Technical Representative during new site preparation and construction activity, and submit daily progress reports accordingly.
I was awarded MSc degree in Industrial Chemistry from University of Benin. I hold BSc in Chemistry from Bendel State (now Ambrose Alli) University, Ekpoma. I did my industrial training at Delta Steel Complex in Delta State.
