I worked on a start-up company with couple of my friends. I was acting as the end to end project
manager and technology head for the company.
o Worked with a distributed team of developers, testers, DB Admins, and architects. I created project
plan, risk management matrix and implementation plan. I used MS project, MS Office and JIIRA for day
to day progress monitoring and management reporting.
o I also coordinated the development activities and provided a much needed strategic leadership to the
team. Worked with third party vendors on payment infrastructure and OTP verification. I also was
involved in server infrastructure and cloud hosting including auto scaling servers.
o We just launched our mobile application. The reception is bit lukewarm and we don’t generate any
revenue.

o Handling BT LATAM Program; E2E service engine stack (L2C/Billing) implementation of Brazil and
Argentina markets.
o When I took charge, the Brazil program had numerous delays and an exhausted budget. Customer
confidence was lowest and Argentina program was on hold. I found numerous issues in the as-is
process.
o Documentation was sparse; so started with creating better documentation including better executive
level reports for much needed visibility. Incorporated many badly needed project management
processes for better accountability.
o Realised data migration was one of the biggest show stoppers since data being migrated out of a live
database. Worked with architects, designers, and data migration team to do a feasibility study and
create an automation script for migration.
o Prepared and submitted a formal proposal and convinced customer for additional funding to
implement the automation script. Successfully migrated the data in a staged process.
o Convinced customer for additional funding for pending feature completions, utilising the heightened
customer confidence and engaged development team for completion.
o Concluded the Brazil program in one year. Got approval for starting Argentina.

Facilitated and coordinated people and resources from initiation till execution for successful delivery
of 15+ projects. Consolidated activities across departments and vendor companies.
o Successfully worked with one of the most comprehensive project management process and
documentation I ever worked with. Since US banking and financial domain is heavily regulated, Ocwen
had to follow the rules and regulations to the point and processes and documentation needed to be
perfect.
EXPERIENCE
o Successfully used all types of artefacts and documentation including, but not limited to, business case,
project charter, project plan, schedule, action log, RAID matrix, implementation plan, and various
executive status reports.
o Successfully led the enterprise wide implementation of Oracle fusion finance module. Was part of the
process early in the cycle and successfully got the team together, started and monitored the
development process throughout the development cycle, successfully completed development,
created and implementation plan, led and completed the implementation successfully.
o Effectively completed numerous fast paced, highly visible and time-critical projects with bare
minimum resources and funding. Even the organisation continuance depended on successful and
timely completion of these projects.
o Successfully completed multiple high stake, high visibility projects in a very highly stressful
environment. Since Ocwen was a financial domain company but failed to comply with some US
regulations, it was heavily fined. They also had to create the entire IT infrastructure from ground-up.
o On highly visible projects, worked with high stakeholders including CTO, VPs, directors and BU heads.
Presented and hosted various weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly, program and executive level meetings.
o Well versed in vendor management activities including VRF, VMO, purchase order, and order tracking.
o Single handily pushed the SharePoint project to completion despite time constraints, lack of available
ownership information, approval delays and legal impacts through systematic approach and hands-on
execution.

Was a senior consultant managing a team of 8 members during the Bharatiya Mahila Bank launch (the
central government bank for women). Successfully led the phase-1 launch.
o We developed the core banking solution from ground-up and completed all the customisations. This
was one of the largest banking projects of Fidelity and the project enjoyed high visibility throughout
the organisation.
o Worked under extreme stress and almost impossible timelines to successfully complete the phase-1
launch and roll out the first 15+ branches.
o Using priority based issue segregation, completed the Level-1 blockers from the huge backlog of issues
within the tight schedule. Coordinated the work of business analysts and development team.
o Led the rollout phase with a team of five BAs and took onsite training for clients up to general
manager.
o Coordinated the development team activities by prioritizing the requirements in order to get the
Level-1 blockers fixed and successfully completed the initial rollout phase.

o Prepared the requirements artefacts including, BRD, business process models, use cases (UML),
requirement specification (user stories), object modelling, and traceability matrix.
o Managed the project schedules and monitored the development activities of various projects resulting
in completion and delivery of the projects on or earlier than the planned time.
o Efficiently used agile methodologies and utilized tools including JIRA, Visio, RequisitePro, and MS
Office. Worked with the team to prepare the schedule and resource calendar using MS Project.

Successfully worked with teams in four companies, in different geographical locations and
technologies, to complete the ‘Bobcat CL’ project on time. This was a custom credit (banking) card
developed and launched for Bobcat customers by American express.
o Worked for AMEX (American express) account creation and background verification modules in
banking domain (cards and payments).
o Personally completed a complicated struts validation with nine different validation criteria on a single
card number using struts properties file and without any manual validation.
o AMEX was one of the largest customers of Syntel in banking and financial domain. This was one of the
largest projects from AMEX.
o Joining at late development stage and as part of a team that was completely new, completed the
much delayed and escalated ‘GSAS’ project without further delays or escalations.
