1. Understanding the requirement of Customer by review of associated document such as:
- RFQ’s, Quotes from Singapore and Dubai
- Customer PO's, LOI's and other related communication
- QITPs submitted at tender stage or prepare for order execution
2. Ensuring that Customer requirements are effectively translated into working document such as RED, Eng. BOM, Item Master etc.
3. Ensuring that internal communication between Dubai, Singapore and Batam department Project, Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality etc. Is effective and on time
4. Ensuring that work progresses as planned
5. Ensure Quality inspection activities are carried out per requirement including communication with TPI for witnessing etc.
6. Attend meeting as and when needed above
1. To support Quality in obtaining and disseminating information related to Non-conformance Reports (NCR's) with the intent of ultimately reducing COPQ resulting from NCR's and time to close out NCR's
2. Ensuring that the Quality related procedures are adhered to and identifying opportunities for improving/simplifying them
3. Monitoring log/register of FNCRs and its periodic updating based on inputs from Quality personnel
4. Coordination for weekly meetings related to NCR's, contributing to the Root Cause Analysis process and recording decisions taken
5. Following up with stakeholders for completion of actions such as containment/corrective action, that has been agreed upon, so as to meet applicable KPI such as number of days to close out an NCRs.
6. Monitoring cost and time data related to FNCRs and providing them as requested by Management, from time to time
7. Assisting stakeholders in Quality Improvement program
1. To support LS Quality Lead in obtaining and disseminating information related to Field Non-conformance Reports (FNCRs), with the intent of ultimately reducing COPQ resulting from FNCRs and time to close out FNCRs
2. Ensuring that the LSQA related procedures are adhered to and identifying opportunities for improving/simplifying them
3. Maintenance of log/register of FNCRs and its periodic updating based on inputs from Service locations
4. Coordination for weekly meetings related to FNCRs, contributing to the Root Cause Analysis process and recording decisions taken
5. Following up with stakeholders for completion of actions such as containment/corrective action, that has been agreed upon, so as to meet applicable KPI such as number of days to close out an FNCR.
6. Monitoring cost and time data related to FNCRs and providing them as requested by Management, from time to time
7. Assisting stakeholders in Quality Improvement program
1. Conduct quality Surveillance of suppliers in the region to ensure compliance to company standard.
2. Develop supplier to meet or exceed company standard.
3. Position as an active member of Global Quality Surveillance network to support global surveillance initiative.
4. Lead new supplier qualification activities.
5. Perform source inspection.
6. Coordinate with supplier to resolve all quality and rejection - related matters.
7. Responsible for all expediting duties of active purchase orders on materials, parts or subcontract services to ensure that agreed delivery date can be achieved.
8. Assist procurement and sourcing manager on sourcing activities.
9. Prepare management report on supplier quality and delivery performance.
10. Resolution of Quality Rejection including following on implementation of Corrective Action.
11. Coordinating technical queries between Vendor and Engineering.
12. Prepare monthly Supplier Performance report
Manage the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities on a day-to-day basis in compliance with established Corporate and Project policies, procedures and instructions.
Responsible for the implementation of ISO 9001
Provide indoctrination and training on Business Management systems and procedures.
Prepare and monitor QA/QC budget in the region in support with Corporate QA/QC budget.
Work with Project Management Team members to develop, approve, implement and monitor quality procedures and instructions applicable to client and project requirements.
Select and manage the QA/QC personnel (permanent, contract and third party), prepare and submit specified Quality (QA/QC) documentation for project pre-qualifications and bids, and prepare and present Quality Presentations externally and internally.
Development and maintenance of a project audit/review plan to measure quality system effectiveness across all phases of the work
Monitors the implementation of Individual Qualit Control (IQC) Programmes in subcontractor/vendor to ensure they are maintenance and improve to improve their IQC level
Work with purchasing department to establish quality requirements from external suppliers and conduct external supplier approval audits
Maintain the project Corrective Action and Non-conformance registers and report on the effectiveness of the preventative measures taken.
Represent the Company in Client/Company meetings and Supplier Kick-off meetings and respond to any question regarding quality.
Assist the company for clarification and interpretation of quality requirements, specification, procedure, code and standard.
Handle critical Customer complaints through root cause identification, establish effective corrective and preventive actions and mistake proofing activities as and when required
Manage ISO 9001:2008 certifications and ensure compliance with ISO requirements
Serve as the Company ISO 9001 and any other Quality Systems representative
Witness the welding activity before, during and after welding
Witness and Review NDE (MT, PT, UT, RI), PMI
Witness repair of welding if any, search cause of welding repair and give solution to welder.
Check and witness hydro test process, fit-up stage, In-Process and final inspection of welding that which requires the use of caliper, micrometer, Hi-Low gauge, Digital, etc
Inspection of Material and Dimensional Inspection of various types of Fit-ups, Sub- Assembly and Final Assembly
- Maintain, update, document, and file all quality records
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities and Identify and record any problems relating to the quality system
- monitor vendor evaluation process and vendor records, as well as aid in the selection and qualification of new vendors and applicable documentation
- Initiate, record, distribute, review, implement and verify in conjunction with the QA Manager all nonconformities and related documentation and logbook.
- Action and close all customer complaints
- Responsible for the training of quality control inspectors and staff.
- Evaluating incoming materials and products during the production process
- Develops the quality control procedures and analyzes the data from inspection reports ensures that incoming materials are suitable for production
- Monitor incoming materials, parts in-process and final products before shipment to customers.
- Find the problem and give the solution for the continuous improvement
- Make QA planning and evaluate the work periodically
- Ensure the production process and output are meet with the quality standard and procedure from the company
