• 2002- 2008: Branch Accounting Executive

Joined the organization as Branch Accounting Executive, and moved up the corporate ladder
to merit promotion to the position as Senior General Accounting Executive.

Key Responsibilities - Senior General Accounting Executive (2008- Present):

• Extracting financial information from business activities to prepare periodic financial
statements in sync with all accounting standards and principles.
• Executing a wide range of finance and accounting functions like financial reporting, bank
reconciliation, payroll system (Menapay & Mename), WPS Payroll and cash-flow - updated
the same in automated systems to ascertain month-end accruals and finalization of accounts.
• Performing account reconciliation to validate customer/vendors & inter-company accounts as
well as managing credit ledger of the suppliers including PANDA hypermarkets receivables
and successful closure of “Creditor Ledger " on monthly basis.
• Serving across a variety of accounting operations like reconciling statements, processing
payroll, expense reporting, facilitating the computation of tax holding for the foreign company
who have trade imports with the organization.
• Summarizing critical business data and reviewing Panda's account with the branches as well
as overseeing cash flows, Cash payments and cash receipts, etc.
• Overseeing factors critical for sound financial performance which involve cash floats,
warehouse accounts and shipments invoices - duly updating the same across books of
accounts maintained.
• Directing all activities of credit and collection department and division managers to review and
control the credit and collections to control the cash flow in addition to compiling reports for
AR aging, collections, and inventory.
• Maintaining an accurate and up to date ledger, ensuring adequate control is maintained in
preparing the annual depreciation of fixed assets, amortization of costs, etc.
• Actively involving in financial budgeting/ forecasting; controlling marketing spend and
developing strategies to maximize the success of financial management initiatives.
• Providing strong support to management in ensuring the financial domain of the organization
is organized, well structured, defined and complies with all regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities - Branch Accounting Executive (2002- 2008):

• Managed reconciliation of accounts between the branch and other related branches/customers and suppliers and drafted periodic management reports (monthly branch closing, sales analysis, A/R, A/P, and cash flow).
• Established a meticulous follow-up mechanism to receive payments from the client; developed and managed credit notes & debit notes while striving to maximize cash/ revenue income for the company.
• Contributed in preparing the annual budget for the branch, provided financial oversight for various branch activities.
• Evaluated figures of financial statements/ reports and documents generated for accuracy in addition to periodic reporting to management regarding the financial status of the organization.
