IT SUPPORT MANAGER
• Lead IT management works of Shanghai and Sanya Anantara AVC office, provide the Level 1 and Level 2 support to Company Staff.
• Proficiency in Windows Servers and Windows 2008/2012, manage company Active Directory and GPO (Global Policy Object) setting
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of computers connected in LAN and peripherals under the authorization.
• Ensuring security patches and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops with Microsoft
• Monitoring Antivirus, Email Gateway and Network Firewalls settings
• Maintenance of Avaya PBX, switches, and phones.
• Maintain backups on on-site and off-site storage
• Provide the Support for CCTV and Door Lock systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connections, printer and etc. Issues reported to the Management team
• Accomplish Company Aspect auto-dial solution project in 2015, improve the Call Centre working efficiency
• Documentation on all IT products and handle any other IT assignments from management
• Directly manage the Information Technology function within 2 Marriott Flag properties, 1 apartment and COMO office in Shanghai City Centre, using appropriate systems management procedures and practices to ensure the optimal operating effectiveness and integrity of data.
• Ensures that all systems running are maintained to a level that delivers the most efficient service for our customers and that they are in compliance with Marriott Hotels Standards of Operation.
• Support all brand-compliant technology objectives. (Opera PMS/Micros POS/Pay Roll/Material Control/FCS/Digital Signature)
• IT Team fulfill 7 * 24 Hour on call duties as required.
• In charge of project management of property based technology implementations and upgrades; complete the Win7 platform transition and Server 2008 migration in 2013.
• In charge of project management of hotel Wifi coverage, meet group GPNS standard.
• Follow with Regional office, provide supporting technology strategy presentations, indicate in IT based Capital expenditure plans and Manages technology expenses; make the IT Capex and 10 years Long Range Plan.
• Determines priorities, schedules, plans and necessary resources to ensure completion of hotel projects on schedule.
• Provide for the professional development and training of personnel that report to this position
• Manage vendor relationships for the Area to ensure positive results and price / value while maintaining very high professional and ethical standards.
• Periodical provide support to the users of Information Systems through direct interaction and through the identification and co-ordination of our ongoing training needs.
• Ensure that the hotel is in compliance with all Marriott Technology Standard, performs annual self (IR) Audit insure for 100% compliance
• Implement the PGS system project, improve the guest C/I and C/O experience
• Coordinates Regional system manager to complete the business work of IR related
• Good management of hotel systems and ensure normal hotel operations
• Installation and troubleshooting of PC operating system, PC software, Email, Internet and Intranet. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure component (e.g routers, switches, firewall etc.) Installation and maintenance PMS system OPERA, POS system, Cost control system, PABX system and HR system.
• Participation in preparation and Hotel grand opening
• Responsible the Hotel System Daily maintenance
• During Systems Manager worked in Finance Department, ability to independent responsibility, maintaining the normal operation
