• Knowledge of Pre Engineering Building Fabrication & erection Activity.
• Reviewing Steel Erection & Fabrication drawings.
• Checking civil foundations elevation before steel (columns / frames Erection)
• Supervising & Checking ground assembly for main columns with beams to compose frames can be lifted and erected one time
• Supervising & inspecting the erection of main steel girders and bracings between frames (with consideration of erection sequence).
• Supervising alignment and bolt tightening for main members of the structure on the main Aligns and Axis before offering for inspection
• Preparation of MAR, MIR, WIR & IR for inspection activity.
• Maintain Daily, Weekly and monthly Progress Reports. Familiar for Quality Inspection Plan
• Coordinate the site activities and communicate with sub-contractors, project management, procurement and purchasing
• Identifying Non conformities and verification of corrective action
• Familiar with welding process, NDT & Material. Familiar with WPS, PQR & Welder qualification.
• Monitoring & ensuring all painting & blasting related works were carried out to the contract specification procedures and Quality control plans
• Checking everyday weather condition, temperature, humidity prior to start working, materials product validity and expiry date with batch certificate.
• Keeping inspection records properly maintaining as per as quality standard.
• Inspection & Monitoring the Execution of Erection Activity as per Approved Drawing & ITP.
• Preparation of documents for Work Inspection Request & Material Inspection for TPI/ Consultant Inspection and Approval.
• Preparation of snag list and offering for Final Inspection for TPI/ Consultant
• Coordinating with Consultant, Main Contractor, TPI, Production, Project and Technical Departments for inspection activity as per project specification & ITP.
• Checking the status of construction approved latest revised drawings. Review of project specification / method statements/ inspection & test plans, in accordance with project requirements.
• Preparation and submission of daily flash and weekly report to reporting manager for the inspection activities carried out each day and results found, including areas of concern and NCRs. Attending the project meeting
• Witnessing and Reviewing Non Destructive Testing (NDT) activities in Welding compare with codes and standards.
• Coordinating with clients for QC issues and coordinate with third party inspection agencies for offering the stages as per Inspection Test Plan.
• Preparation and submission of daily flash and weekly report to reporting manager for the inspection activities carried out each day and results found, including areas of concern and NCRs. Attending the project meeting.
• Identifying Non conformities and verification of corrective action
• Monitoring the procedure qualification records and the qualifications of welders, operators and witnessing welding procedure qualifications. Witnessing of NDT, stud welding and bend tests etc.
• Ensuring that all the welding related records such as weld maps, welding procedure, welder qualification documents and calibration records of welding related equipment’s etc. are maintained as per codes and project requirements.
• Monitoring the NDT activities and weld visual activities.
• Co-ordinate day to day activities and combined line check with QC inspector for welding consumables, equipment monitoring and review of coating manufacturer’s certificate and products
• Monitoring and recording the welding parameters such as voltage, current and welding speed during Welding Procedure and Welder qualification. Ensuring the maintenance for pre-heat and inter-pass temperature during production welding. Monitoring the consumable storage and issuance. Inspect of Welding machine calibration, hot box calibration.
• Review of Inspection test plan prior to start of project.
• Raw Material Inspection & Co Coordinating for Destructive Testing as per project requirements and ensuring traceability.
• Coordinating a quality control team as per project requirements.
• On field, conducting the welding and coating inspection and surveillance, to ensure all welding processes are adhering to the approved WPS and all welding personnel on a project are qualified as per that project’s requirements.
• Carrying out the final visual inspection & reviewing of NDT test reports.
• Inspection of material surface preparation as per coating specification and Ensuring pot life, sweat-in time and blasting time before paint application are as per specifications.
• Ensuring persons involved in production/quality activities are qualified/certified/approved by client.
• Monitoring QC inspectors involved in line checking, regarding completion of weld summary sheets, NDT requirement, mark-up drawings, and as-built drawings as per project requirement.
• Ensuring instruments used in production/quality control are approved and in calibrated state and maintaining calibration register.
• Providing information to production personnel about project procedures and acceptability criteria.
