My primary functions as a operations Supervisor assist in the daily operation of the warehouse.
Performs and directs a variety of warehousing duties, which require an understanding of the
establishment storage and operational plan.
Work involves most of the following: Verifying all material and goods received against transit
documents, noting, reporting discrepancies and obvious damages. Verify eligibility of cargo and mail
Ensures all cargo documentation, packaging, labeling and marking requirements,
Check cargo against manifests, and annotates overage, shortage, or damage.
Secure cargo with appropriate devices and equipment. Exercise necessary safety and security
precautions in handling and storing hazardous or special cargoes and mail.
Worked as logistic coordinator for 5 months handling more than 10+ clients which includes Richemont, Al mana Fashions, carestream health and dental and the responsibilities includes the following.
• Prepared and shipped merchandise for customer shipments.
• Plan and execute operations as per client requirement.
• Received and unloaded incoming freight.
• Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively.
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures (Exceed, Flotilla, MsOffice).
• Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
• Schedule shipments to warehouse from suppliers around the globe by choosing the cheapest and best available shipping option
• Preparing export documentation, invoice and packing list.
• Updated and maintained physical and perpetual inventory.
• Utilized inventory management systems.
• Analyzed data to monitor performance and planned improvements.
• Reviewed logistical problems and recommended solutions.
