● Adhere to all DDF “World Class” Customer Service Standards.
• Handle cash and credit sales and ensure each transaction are correct and logged in the cash office at the end of shift. Any irregularities are reported to supervisor before duty ends.
• Ensure that all merchandise is properly priced, maintain display in area displayed by display/merchandise team & maintain ongoing replenishment of all stock sold.
• Update prices of merchandise in the event of price mark up and down.
• Report- Price / delivery irregularities to the area supervisor immediately.
• Inform the supervisor for specified operational issue.(as per operational policy)
• Check product expiry dates and rotate stock regularly for perishable items.
• Channel customer request, complaints, suggestions & comments to supervisor for further action.
• Keep one shelf updated on the latest product knowledge by attending training, reading brochure, product bulletins, or requesting information from merchandise stock.
• Participate in stock count.
• Safeguard shop floor stocks against pilferage, theft and damage.
• Ensure that safe working practice is adhered to at all times.
• Monitor the movement & stock position of merchandise and advise supervisor accordingly.
• Adhere DDF grooming guidelines.
• Co-operate with supervisors and colleagues, assist colleagues, as and when needed.
• Ensure that the stocks and matter of importance are endorsed to the incoming shift.
• Any other responsibilities or task as deemed appropriate by DDF management.
• Liaising & networking with a range of stakeholders.
• Marketing the product & increasing the sales volume.
