Overall Incharge and Responsible for Decorative, Protective and marine coating Division by means of Coating Operation, manpower management, customer relationship and Business Development
•Manage multi-projects with group of paint supervisors and preparators and perform painting activities, in spray booth or in paint container, on the equipment's and foundation before or after the installation on board.
•Preparation of work schedules, allocation and supervision of work for all projects and ensuring timely completion of work as per the schedule.
• Liaise with production and quality assurance team for complying with the requirements of paint specification.
• Coordinate with Purchase department for sourcing painting materials as per the specifications.
• Obtain blasting/painting permit and entry into confined space permits or any other work permit system.
•Prepare reports on job status and project completion.
•Inspect vessels and ensure customer satisfaction both in quality and cycle time.
•To maintain safe and healthy working environment in workplace and to ensure correct safety practices are adopted by all men under his charge.
•Liaise and coordinate with other departments on project issues.
Head of the painting department responsible for Surface preparation and coating activities including quality and safety of ship building Division .
To support the Management and Project team in Pre-planning, Generation of programs and follow up all jobs in order to utilize optimum resources.
Co-ordinate with Project Managers, Owner Representatives, and other trades supervisory staff as well as internally in the department with work preparation, schedules and man hours.
Responsible to plan and organize the work, supervises equipment maintenance, monitor paint consumption, organize procurement of paints consumable
Working as team leader responsible for On Job Training and performance appraisals of the Foreman’s/Supervision, Q.C., Checkers and team members.
Pro-active participation of blasting and painting activity such as steel preparation, pre-cleaning, surface preparation, in process and final inspection, etc.
Managing and training staff and manpower; managing the cost, establishing and monitoring productivity goals.
Responsible to conduct meetings and toolbox talks with the Supervisors, Foreman’s, Work force, Q.C, Checkers or team members for Productivity, Quality and Safety issues / alters.
Maintaining all Management system, productions and quality records. Preparing turnover to the next shift highlighted the critical and urgent job, including in process and progress report.
Executes the work as per QMS & IMS on all working areas and to maintain work logs and write reports as well as issue NCR in site for any non- conformance
Review contract for technical and commercial aspects, and special conditions and ensure that work is done as per client specification/contract.
Responsible for monitoring the activities related to Safety, Quality, including of environmental conditions quality of materials, etc.
Selection of Suitable of equipment, quality of workmanship, methods of application, Quality control Checks

Rejecting all non-conforming work associated with such inspection.
