• Study the agreements with Contractors, drawings, specifications, BOQ, design basis, MTO, Specifications and Calculations.
• Finalization of Sub Vendors with proper technical & commercial comparison and make sure all materials are within the Budget.
• Support on preparation of Technical Data Sheets.
• Follow up closely procurement schedule and confirmations of delivery for material and equipment
• Ensuring effective preparation of:
o Technical comparison & Price comparison of Major equipment and finalization of supplier
o Local & Foreign Purchase Orders
o Generate a Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Procurement related reports.
o Liaise with manufacturers & vendors closely to stick to planned delivery dates.
• Preparation of technical requirement evaluation of LOI and PO for the required material/equipment
• Checking:
o Project Specification, BOQ, contract documents & Sub Contact Agreements
o All shop drawings, Co-ordination drawings, & As Built Drawings
• Liaising with:
o Engineering, Consultant & Main Contractor regarding procurement related works.
o Q.S Dept. for Preparation of Variation, EOT & Estimation department for tenders.
• Conducting & verifying Heat load Calculations.
• Assisting and providing information to drafting team in order to produce detailed drawings.
• Supervising Mechanical jobs based on shop drawings and specifications.
• Preparing weekly & monthly progress reports and assessing them against the project schedule.
• Ensuring the availability of adequate resources for the execution of assigned job.
• Providing input to Quantity Surveyor for interim payment applications.
• Coordinating with civil / electrical and mechanical work.
• Conducting safety tool box lecture to enforce safety regulations for individuals on the site.
• Raising inspection requests for work completed.
• Ensuring work is executed according to contract specifications, approved design drawings, agreed procedures, and method statements.
• Implementing strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.
• Reducing the wastage of material and increase manpower productivity.
• Interacting with clients and consultant regarding the status of work.
• Completing necessary quality assurance documentation of work under direct control.
• Negotiating with clients and consultants for obtaining approvals for requested modifications.
• Updating drawings to fit newly approved modifications for As-Built drawings.
• Checking all installations in preliminary stage.
• Authorizing testing and commissioning of mechanical installations
• Preparing quotes and attending meetings with clients for project finalization.
• Project planning & Costing.
• Finalizing of Suppliers and Sub Contractors.
• Ensuring timely material supply and safety of materials at stores.
• Monitoring site work as per BAR Chart.
• Ensuring safety at the work sites.
• Attending meeting with client, architect, consultant & contractors.
• Monitoring of timely billing and collection of payment.
• Ensuring the timely completion.
• Project Planning (BAR Chart preparation, Attending meetings with Client/Consultant, Selecting the Contractors, Price Negotiation with contractors and preparing of Technical Specifications.)
• Project Designing (Heat load Calculations, Equipment Selections as per the Tech. Specifications).
• Project Drawing Preparation (Making HVAC Drawings in good manner and getting Consultant and Architect Approvals).
• Project Execution (Managing of Money, Materials & Manpower effectively).
• Ensuring safety (Monitoring safety wears, Keeping Safety boards and stickers and arranging of safety classes)
• Commissioning the Plant, Preparation of Hand over document and Hand over the job to Client.
Finalization of air conditioning ducting, chilled water piping layouts and MEP Co-Ordination drawings as per design standards.
2. Giving instruction to site supervisors as per drawing.
3. Preparation of Technical submittals & Schedules for materials & Execution.
4. Checking the quality of materials and preparing the mock ups.
5. Preparation of material cost comparison and cost negotiations with vendors.
6. Handling of execution as per standards and technical specifications.
Do Heat load calculations, Equipments selections, Ventilation and Exhaust calculations and prepare HVAC & MEP Co-ordination Drawings.
