1. Senior Assistant Engineer - Bharat Oman Refineries Limited (BORL), Madhya Pradesh | Since June 2009 to till date
• Involving in pre-commissioning and commissioning activity of Floating roof, Cone roof, Dome roof.
• Preparing activity documentation, diesel unloading activities, Loop checking of control valves and alarm checking.
• De-commissioning activity of Crude tank and emergency activities attended in Naphtha tank
Bharat Oman Refineries Limited (BORL) is a Joint Venture Company formed by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Oman Oil Company Limited (OOCL) to set-up a 6 MMTPA grassroot refinery at Bina, District Sagar, state of Madhya Pradesh, India.
2. Field Officer - ESSAR Oil Ltd., Gujarat | from June 2006 to June 2009
Essar Oil Limited is 10.5 MMTPA capacity refinery at Vadinar, Gujarat. Vadinar is about 40 Km from Jamnagar along the coast of the Gulf of Kutch. The refinery is designed for processing 10.5 MMTPA crude based on 70:30 Arab Lt : Arab Hy. mix. However, flexibility in the design is envisaged to process varying type of crudes such as 50:50 Gullfaks Oseburg, Bombay High etc.
Work Area: Product and Intermediate Tank farm (PIT)
PIT (Product Intermediate Tank farm) between processing units and terminals. It has 71 tanks
Including 8 LPG and 3 Hydrogen spheres and is spread over more than 3 sq. km area. More than 25 different hydrocarbons are handled here. The main functions of PIT are
• Storage and uninterrupted supply of raw materials and intermediates to the processing units.
• Storage and supply of finished products to terminals.
