I'm the Controller for Sigus Cement, a subsidiary of the state-owned Algerian Cement Group since 2018.
EGSAC manage the Constantine Airport, where I am in charge of Human Resources, Supply Chain and Airport Bus Fleet.
SGSIA is the company that manages Algiers Houari Boumediene Airport since 2006 and has recorded an increase in passengers and cargo volumes every quarter.
Under the supervision of the Executive GM and the CEO, I worked on a set of umbrella projects: proposal to raise regulated tariffs on airport fees to finance improvement and expansion plans, update on aerodrome manual and airport SMS, a new strategy for cargo operations, an analysis of air traffic, an implementation of an HRIS to accompany the growth of the workforce with the envisioned opening of the new 10MPPA terminal in 2018
EGSAA and EGSAC are two airport operators in Algeria that manage twenty four airport platforms across the country with a combined workforce totalling over one thousand.
Between 2010 and 2012 I worked on three sites as an Airport Director being the direct contact with the local authorities on issues such as airport development and airport preparedness during seasonal rush and emergency calls as well as managing the given airport's workforce and preparing and executing the airports' budget.
EGSA Alger is an airport operator that manages 16 airport plateforms in central and southern Algeria with a workforce of 600.
Under the supervision of the Human resources Director based at headquarters in Algiers, my duties included but not limited to:
-Designed and implemented a three year Training plan aimed at providing training to 450 staff
-Worked as part of a program to select, hire and train university graduates for positions of Airport Director and Airport Security Instructor
-Screened and selected candidates’ cvs for professional positions such as engineer, accountant,
-Conducted interviews of short-listed candidates through the Company’s Commission on Hiring
-Ranked interviewed candidates by order of merit, including providing an analysis of knowledge gap -----Streamlined the headcount reporting, the estimate of base pay increase,
-Mandated to rewrite Employee Handbook, including harmonization of disciplining
-Coordinated with Directors their needs in staffing and training, made a consolidated report
-Coordinated the delivery of the training plan for the opening of the new Terminal
-Established as part of a companywide team the database of job descriptions of existing and new jobs
-Liaised with foreign schools and corporate events the sending of managers-in-training
It's a professional master program in Human Resources Management that consists of 20 courses. I completed 9 courses with a GPA of over 4.0 before withdrawing due to work constraints.
