Position : Senior operation chemist
Controls and monitors the operation process from DCS and PLC base.
Operation of the chlorination plant (C.W& Raw water chlorination).
Operation of the pre-treatment plant for potable, domestic water and waste units.
Operation of the Demi plant (cation exchangers, DE carbonator, anion exchangers and Mixed Bed exchangers.
Operation of polishing plant and regeneration.
Operation of Ultra filtration, Reverse Osmosis and EDI system.
Controls Chemical Dosing system and quality of water and steam during Start-up and shut-down procedures for thermal power plant (Cold, Warm, and Hot Start Up and normal or emergency shut-down) and HRSG.
Analyzing samples from various sources of water(transformer, turbine, lube Oil, heavy fuel and heat - transfer fluids) to provide information on compounds quantities of compounds.
Make calibration for much kind of analyses instrument and prepare reagents, calibration and cleaning solution (lab & field and online instrument.
Boiler passivation and preservation.
Know a lot of chemical cleaning for (air heater, super heater, boiler, Gas
Turbine compressor & condenser and Desalination plants).
Calculate and reporting the rates of consumption of chemicals and to compare the design specifications.
Knowledge a lot of Steam blow of (Boilers& HRSG), distillation plant, Recarbonation plant and sewage water plant
Follow-up programs to measure the emissions of various stations, Revision additions materials and their impact on emissions from the combustion process.

A laboratory chemist & operating as shift chemist in field Of Operating, controlling and make qualitative, Quantitative, spectrophotometer and Chromatographic Analysis for:-
- Dematerialized system forming Demi water (soft Water) without any salts .
- Waste water treatment system (treatment to waste Water to back to river Nile) .
Pretreatment system (treatment of the Nile water) . -
Sewage water treatment system (treatment the Sewage water to the Nile River) .-
- Chlorination system (injection the chlorine to kill Micro organisms) .
- Following installation and operation of sampling system and on line analyzer (Silica analyzers, sodium analyzer, conductivity meters, PH meters and- dissolved Oxygen analyzers) make calibration and prepare chemicals for online analyzers to control the boiler water, condensate and steam cycle quality .
- Following operation of chemical feed system (Ammonia, Hydrazine, and Phosphate) to adjust chemicals feeding to the boiler .
- Following installation and operation for D-M-S (Data management system), which control chemical injection in boiler water, condensate and steam automatically according to the reading of on line analyzers .
- Following operation of condensate polishing System and required its water analysis .
Potable water treatment (treatment the Nile water to form potable water) . -
Oil & fuel analysis .-
- All chemical analysis for water quality control .
- Reverse osmosis (treatment for water by reverse Osmosis) .

Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up of water treatment unit (RO system)
Managing O&M of water processes equipment and facilities to produce Demineralized water with capacity 15 m3/hour
