Working as a “SHIFT SUPERVISOR” in the SULPHUR COMPLEX of KNPC, having capacity to recover 1450 TPD of Sulphur.
At present, refinery is under construction stage and pre- commissioning activity is going on.
I am working in ARU 2 trains capacity of 1100 M3/Hr and SWS 2 trains capacity of 325M3/Hr and SRU 3 trains capacity of 450 TPD.
Three identical parallel Claus trains (including degassing) processing each 450 MTPD sulphur.
For all 3 trains of SRU having separate LT scot section.

PLANT DESCRIPTION: -
•SRU with LT SCOT technology is a single line designed to minimize sulphur emission by recovering 99.9% of sulphur from acid gas from ARU and sour gas from SWS.
•Working in world's largest Amine regeneration nit in single plant capacity with 10MMTPD.
•SRU is partially divided in to below section.
•SWS section (Non-phenolic), ARU section, CLAUSS section, SCOT section, Degasification section, Incinerator section

PLANT DESCRIPTION: -
•Merchem ltd is a large producer of rubber material additives and oxidating agents. mainly the customers are MRF, CEAT and DUNLOP.
•Working with equipments like AUTOCLAVE high pressure (75kg/cm2 and high temp (250 C ), leaf filter, distillation in packed column for toluene recovery, vacuum distillation ( 760 mmHg) with steam ejector for benzothiuzole recovery.
•Autoclave, (75 Kg/cm2 pressure, temp - 250C) reaction with high pressure & high temperature.
•Aniline, Carbon disulphide (CS2), Chlorine and various solvents.
TASKS
AS DCS /PANEL OPERATOR
•Control all process parameter with smooth, safe, & environment friendly operation.
•According to safety & environment planning before plant shut down & start up.
•Always be alert for logics and interlocks given by instrument dept. for safe start up & shutdown activities.
•Prepare shift schedule, daily production report & raw material consumption data sheet.
•Work hard on DCS for quality, power saving, cost reduction.
•Take suitable action if any abnormality given by lab sample report.
•Prepare SOPs & job list for annual shutdown of unit.
Always motivate to plant operators & labours for working & create friendly atmosphere.
