At Al Ghassan Motors, being Financial Controller I managed and responsible for the overall finance, treasury, corporate reporting
and budgeting activities. My key responsibilities include:
- Presentation of periodic financial results to Group CFO and Shareholders
- Detailed analysis of annual budget and rolling forecast scheduling
- Controlling all the monthly finalization of financial statements
- Periodic reviews of cash flows, treasury management and financial arrangements with banks
- Monthly analysis of Aftersales business
- Recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance of the company
- Directs budgeting and cost control initiatives
- Oversee credit control and collection activities
- Liaise with external/internal auditors
- Implement financial controls and comply with Group Financial Reporting policies & procedures
- Lead and manage the performance of existing team members
Since joining the Al Ghassan Motors, I have been also responsible for:
1- Recruit and develop a finance team on a national basis

Jaguar and Range Rover division of MYNM.
Following were the major tasks and responsibility associated to my professional experience with MYNM:
1. Maintaining highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity in the provision of services in the Finance
Department
2. Preparation of Business plan.
3. Preparation of monthly FCST.
4. Preparation of monthly management report packs, accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including
“Budget vs. Actual” variance reports and providing follow-up and documentation for significant variances.
5. Following up and monitoring inventory management
6. Establish, maintain and reconcile general ledger in ERP and ensure recording of recurring transactions
7. Involve in monthly closing and Coordinate with external auditor for annual audit.
8. Monitor the cash, debt and liquidity position of the company’s along with the Finance Director.
Facilitate the annual audit activities with internal and external auditors by coordinating provision of information required,
clarifications required, etc. to ensure that the year-end audit package is accurate and complete

2- Set up and review complex Financial Model to control all vehicle purchased from our OEM.
* Orders placed based on forecast stock holdings on Sales.
* Monitoring of production to ensure SBLOC availability on completion.
* Review of completion dates to ensure SBLOC availability.
* Review of contractual payments due to ensure that credit terms are maintained.
* Review of Bank Facilities to ensure availability of SBLOC and funding limits.
3- Review all suppliers account reconciliations and Bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of monthly
accounts and accruals.
4- Development and validation of various accounting and operational reports especially in Aftersales segment
with the assistance of IT department.
5- Creation and analysis of financial models, feasibility studies, for new prospects, showrooms and facilities.
6- Gross profit analysis of vehicles and after-sales.
7- Pricing and costing of new vehicles, parts and standard and extended warranties
8- To look after financial side and related analysis of after sales.
9- Related parties and their reconciliations.
10- Payroll and related matters along with after sales incentives.
MOHAMMAD YOUSAF NAGHI MOTORS.
Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Group (MYNM) is one of the largest groups in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) dealing
in premium and mass motors, FMCG, restaurants, financial and property businesses. They represent Rolls-Royce,
BMW, Mini, Jaguar, Land Rover, Hyundai passenger and commercial vehicles in the KSA.

During the period of more than 3.5 years with the firm, I was involved in various Assurance assignments in a number
of sectors such as retail, manufacturing, commercial banking and service industry and government organizations.
The assignments included full scope audits, limited reviews and agreed upon procedures.
I have performed following tasks during my professional experience with EY Qatar and Ernst & Young Pakistan:
* Extensive understanding & application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
