Khan Brothers (estd. 1948) is a sole and official distributor of Greenheck Ventilation Products (USA), Hattersely Valves (UK), Danfoss Drives &Inverters (Denmark), Danfoss, Copeland, SECOP Compressors and various other HVAC products in Pakistan.

Job Description:
• Demonstrate technical competence of Greenheck Ventilation fans/dampers/ louvers/Package Ventilators; Hattersely, SOCLA and Watts Valves to clients
• Selection of suitable Greenheck Product using Greenheck’s CAPS software
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how and why our product can meet consultant, contractor, and owner needs
• Maintain relationship with contractors, consultants & Industry Engineers
• Scan the market for new projects| Follow up with existing projects
• Prepare and submit weekly task reports to Product Manager

Designing of piping and Ducting work
•Designing of Ventilation & Cooling systems
•To carry out the design and drawings ensuring its optimization
•Installation & Maintenence of HVAC/Evaporative Air Conditioning Systems
•Carryout necessary follow-ups with suppliers for timely execution of the ordered items.

This internship introduced me to core of manufacturing engineering. I practically learned the heat treatment processes, Manufacturing techniques & Quality assurance according to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System. Summarization is given below:

•Rotary Hearth Furnace
•Nitriding Furnace (Birlec Ltd.)
•Nitrating gas Furnace

•Quality Assurance of Products Both Dimensionally & Metallurgically using following machines:
•Surface Roughness Tester (Seimitsu, Japan)
•Brinell hardness testers (Indentec, UK)
•Rockwell hardness testers (Indentec, UK)
•Microvicker hardness tester (Indentec, UK) with online indent measuring software

This internship introduced me to basics of maintenance engineering & RAC (refrigeration & Air-conditioning). I practically learned the working cycle of machines & solution to daily maintenance affairs. Summarization is given below:
