In a team of six accounting and finance professionals, I was responsible for the day-to-day management of payments for supplies and invoices to customers. I also managed the social media accounts and website of the architectural firm.

● Managed accounts receivable e.g. Sent billing invoices to construction firms, banks and property developers
● Managed all the payments to creditors, e.g. banks and loans providers, car finance, leasing agreements
● Managed payments to gas and electric suppliers, water, insurance, architecture software and survey tools
● Ran day-to-day reconciliation of invoices and receipts
● Managed and approved employees’ expensive and petty cash
● Processed HMRC tax returns of company account for yearly submission and VAT returns
● Participated in the costing, budgeting, and forecasting of company account on a monthly basis on excel
● Worked on cash flow forecast, profit and loss and balance sheet creation
● Handled all external and internal enquiries via email, phone, video call or post to a professional standard
● Sat in costing meetings with clients and explained the cost of the project to clients and the expenses accrued
● Dealt with all aspects of office administration, website, and social media accounts and ad hoc.

Within the treasury settlement team of 10, I was responsible for resolving investment banking payments for traders which had not settled. I had to process multi-billion pounds of trades, in various currencies. I had to prioritise my workload; work under pressure, with attention to detail, independently and in a team, communicate with senior stakeholders, ensuring the daily trades met their deadlines.

● Processed multi-billion pounds of trades in various currencies according to the market deadline
● Organised the confirmation and settlement of Forex Exchange, Money Market, Securities and Derivatives trades in a timely, accurate manner with attention to detail in a pressured environment
● Communicated with international stakeholders, traders & agents in the investigations and resolutions of reconciliation investment banking trades of non-payment of front office trades
● Coordinated the settlement of central bank pledges (Bank of England & European Central Bank)
● Kept traders informed regarding the investigation of non-payment of front office trades
● Processed MCEF Chaps, Swift and over account payments with high attention to detail and on time
● Familiarised myself with financial IT systems such as: Intellimatch, Smart Stream’s TLM reconciliation system and Murex investment banking platform
● Organised/Coordinated weekly cash liquidity target meetings with the head of treasury in London
● Communicated with senior stakeholders at all levels and cultures, e.g. agents, investment banks, head of treasury European Central Bank, Bank of England and Prudential Regulation Authority
● Liaised and reported to Risk and Control department to ensure that traders adhered to financial crime regulations
● Produced reports on system requirements, processes, journey mapping and user experience for business analyst
●Produced and analysed large data set of trades that have been settled, outstanding in multiple currencies on Microsoft Power Bi and presented to head of treasury team
●Worked on change management of banking reconciliation platform and ensured smooth transitions and integration of systems.

● Investigated 98% breaks (trades) within 24 hours and 100% within 48 hours
● Successfully implemented new banking reconciliations platform without disruptions
