• Ensure uninterrupted functioning of Bank’s Cards applications processing systems by establishing application up times to ensure 24*7 day operation (PRIME/ONLINE/IPG/ACS/FG/Notification)
• Monitor performance on credit card transaction processing
• Monitoring other cards related services (SMS/e-statements)
• Test and Implement Payment schemes, Card Applications & CBSL compliance mandate in timely manner
• Maintenance and support of Report module (Reports & other support internal developments)
• Managing relevant activities of Card business related Projects (Lanka-pay JCB, DR HA, IPG, ACS, etc…)
• Coordinate with system vendors & Payment Card Associations for system issues & developments (TSYS, Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Lanka-Pay, EPIC, CBA, etc…)
• Provide user support services and serve as the primary contact point between end-users and application vendors
• Ensure prompt resolution and managing of issues (BAU & IT Issues)
• Activities related to Application Database Administrator to troubleshoot on reported issues
• Manage implementation and upgrades of IT applications
• Lead, guide and motivate staff by being involved in their career development & transfer knowledge and educate the staff with future plans
• Research, recommend and implement new technologies and system enhancements
• Testing & Certifications relating to Card business.
VISA ADVT Certification
MasterCard MTIP Certification
JCB/Lanka-Pay certifications
Host testing & Certification using Visa, MasterCard, JCB International Simulators
Acquiring terminal testing (POS) Perform UAT & simulator testing
• Any other activities assigned by reporting authority
• Have sound knowledge of all TSYS applications in PRIME 03 & PRIME 04 (VB Applications, WEB application, API Application).
• Implemented TSYS API module (70+ API modules) in bank environment & supported to Automated all web modules used by Business users (Credit card Capturing, Card maintenance Etc).
• Working with TSYS to implement Installment Automation through POS.
• Currently do Authentication & Authorization testing to implement AMEX SafeKey as bank 3D secure solution.
• Sound knowledge of VISA Master 3D secure solutions VISA VBV & Master SecureCode.
• Handled CBA MPOS solution implementation project.
• Follow up all payment card associations Announcements, Publications&compliancemandates (Quarterlycompliance, AMEX GNS, VISA mandates & Master Data integrity)
• Directly involve the Project related to POS developments Such as Single TID multicurrency POS, Installmentsthorough POS
• Knowledge of POS certifications with MasterCard Fime& VISA ADVT.
• Handle BIN expansion project (MasterCard 2 series BIN & CUP 8 Series BIN)
• Work with system vendors & Payment Card Associations for system issues & developments (VISA, Master, Amex, Cup, TSYS, InterBlocks, Epic, MIT & Zillion)
• Experience in handling VISA EDIT PACKAGE & MASTER CARD FILE EXPRESS CLIENT for VISA, Master, Amex & CUP Card Incoming & Outgoing processes.
• Testing new components to the existing system & configuration settings using simulators such as VTS & MasterCard Test for the system enhancements.
• Works with affiliated banks (Pan Asia Bank, DFCC & NDB) for their system requirements in the card solutions.
• Has the knowledge of the Core banking system (Finacle) & the I-Switch which connects several banks ATM network to the Sampath ATM network.
• Daily maintenance of the Test environments & troubleshooting (Data base &Application level).
• Provide technical support across all departments & to the branch network regarding TSYS system.
