Responsibile for carrying out breakdown and preventive maintenance of :
* Hydraulically operated underground machineries such as mining load haul dumpers i.e
JS100E of Jarvis Clark, LH202E of Sandvik and 811MK V of Eimco Elecon make
Rockbreaker of Teledyne make with MB700 impactor of Atlas Copco.
* Pneumatic machines such as Rockershovel, Jackhammers, 12B & 21B Loader and pneumatic
pumps.
* Electrically driven winder with double drum clutching arrangement of Kopex make used for
man and material hoisting.
* Mining vehicles such as MT426, ST3.5, Boomer281 of Atlas Copco make & other equipments
such as pumps etc.
* Involved in “fabrication, erection and testing of launder type headgear structure”
for 1st stage, 50 m mining of vertical circular shaft mine.
* Tests performed:
1. U.S.F.D (Ultrasonic Flaw Detection Technique)
2. D.P.T (Die Penetration Test)
3. M.P.F.D (Magnetic Particle Flow Detection Technique
