Head of Facilities Management - Responsible for facility management of all 30+ business locations in UAE including supermarkets, warehouses (freezer, chiller, dry), offices, car showrooms, catering kitchen, residential building and Labour camps. Manage all new projects, modification projects and operational requirements.
Facility Management
• Proposes and manages annual combined budget of X million AED for 30+ facilities.
• Vendor management including management of Annual maintenance contracts,
• Establishing, measuring and reporting of KPIs in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Responsible for Hard and Soft services of Facility Management. Preventive maintenance & emergency breakdown maintenance of facility and equipment of Civil, MEP, Firefighting & fire alarm system, Security & systems, Pest Control, Cleaning & Waste Management, Landscaping & Indoor plants, Refrigeration System, Docks, Doors & Shelters & Racking.
Project Management
• Manages multiple short-term & long-term projects simultaneously of modifications for operational requirements and new constructions.

GSL has state of the art controlled warehousing infrastructure with temperature ranges from -25ºC to ambient. GSL provides solutions including warehousing, freight management, transportation, distribution and value added services.
Manager - Facilities & Projects - Responsible for maintenance of warehouse in DIP, DIC & G+4 labour camp in Jebel Ali. Manage all new projects, modification projects and operational requirements.
Facility Management

Preventive maintenance & emergency breakdown maintenance of facility and equipment of civil, MEP, Refrigeration System, Docks & Shelters, Racking, Sliding Doors & Roll Up Doors, Fire fighting & fire alarm system, Landscaping, Battery Handling System, Material Handling Equipment (Forklift, Power pallet trucks, Reach Trucks, VNA - Very Narrow Aisle Machines). Actively involved in Security & systems, Pest Control, Cleaning & Waste Management, Landscaping & Indoor plants.
• Responsible for implementation of standards and regulations according to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, HACCP, ISO 22000:2005 & BRC S & D in facility maintenance.
Project Management
• Successfully managed the construction of new temperature controlled / Cold store warehouse in DIC from start to end worth xxx million AED.
• Manages multiple short-term projects simultaneously of modifications and new operational requirements.
• Manages and coordinates all direct contractors from quote till hand over including the trades of refrigeration, racking, docks & shelters, insulated panels, interior design, CCTV, IT & Networking, Elevator, Lighting, battery handling system, landscaping, furniture & fit outs,
• Manages complete tender process and project execution of solar power plant.
• Responsible for cost management and payments in-line with contract management.
Assistant Manager - Turnkey Business. Establish and develop cold storage warehouse turnkey project business in Middle East market. To generate a revenue of $5 m in Middle East region from turnkey business. To develop processes and train 5 Project Engineers to be able to design, propose, execute cold storage warehouse projects in Middle East.
• Generated $10 million enquiries in 10 months with a conversion rate of ~10%
• Handled a tender for $30 million for Muscat International Airport catering facility.
• Led a six-member Employee Engagement Action Planning team in determining the root causes of employee dissatisfaction and proposed change management required in the organization.
Project Engineer. Manage Cost effectively refrigeration turnkey project execution from start till handover involving pre-project works, engineering and execution.
• Effectively handled four to five projects valued at approximately $1.5Mn to $2Mn for supermarkets and hypermarket refrigeration.
• Actively participated in the implementation of the ERP system (MS Dynamics GP) and responsible for the inventory master creation and maintenance of more than 8000 inventory items.
• Prepare and manage proposals more than $4m annually covering supermarkets, hypermarkets, remodeling works.
Project Sales Engineer. Support & develop the turnkey refrigeration business of the organization. Ammonia refrigeration design, proposal management, Assist the Sales Manager in pre-sales, support for dealers and distribution channels, organizing and participating in exhibitions, website maintenance and update.
Sales/Application Engineer - Parts & Components. Selection, proposal, order processing, purchasing & logistics for refrigeration equipments & parts viz., piston and screw compressors, evaporative condensers, plate heat exchangers, evaporators, pumps, valves and respective spare parts.
• Established the complete process from quote till delivery of parts and components division.
• Achieved a sales target of €6 million with a team of 3 for the year 2009.
• Automated Excel templates for quotations, sales order, purchase order, invoice and delivery note to speed up the process by 5 fold.
• Organized and participated in business exhibitions in Middle East region.
• Trained 4 engineers effectively to handle the department.
Managed a team of 6 - 10 on offshore market research for US based retail organizations via AC Nielsen. Managed daily, weekly and monthly KPIs.
Sales and technical support for US customers on Intuit tax products, HP & Compaq desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, fax machines, all in one units. Support provided by chat, email and phone. Supported the team leader in managing team KPIs.
