Responsible for the projects controls for the Airport Sector for the ongoing airports construction at - IGI-Delhi International Airport, RGI-Hyderabad International Airport, Goa International Airport, Visakhapatnam International Airport
PMO is responsible to look after the project portfolio of INR. 20, 000 Cr and responsible to make sure all the project directors reporting in time
Completely responsible for planning, monitoring and controlling complete construction progress of all the current projects. Mainly associated with passenger handling capacity, area of the terminal building and airside area for aircraft’s parking etc., The main focus lies with the projects Passenger capacity approx- 200 MPPA (million passengers per annum).
PMO liaises with all the project directors in resolving the project issues and risk mitigation. Work along with the stakeholders in getting the required clearances for the projects and conducting stage-gate audits at every stage of the project. which ensures that projects are running as per set procedures and achieving project milestones. We continuously monitor the controls by in-house developed online real-time project management tool, which gives comfort to the management to see the project status in all the aspects anywhere, anytime
Works with Leadership management in managing the overall project cost control efforts
Works with scheduling staff to develop, manage, revise, and update integrated detailed project
schedules including all phases of project execution
Provide risk management reporting including tracking of project issues, risk avoidance and risk
mitigation
Provide earned value analysis and forecasting to support project completion date including
alternative scenario analysis for work concurrency
As the senior most management member, I am responsible for creating a “Center of Excellence” to nurture the project management team’s knowledge of and adherence to GMR project management guidelines. This includes managing project process, project governance, enhancing and implementing the process as and where required.

Arrange and manage planning workshops/meetings to discuss and assist contractors / consultants to close their planning / project control issues

JOB PROFILE:
Head of Project Controls including project planning & cost control, was involved with Mercury MENA (Qatar, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Libya, Morocco) senior management team and managing team of more than 30 to perform Project analysis, Project controls, Cost control and ERP Systems (SAP-SD, MM, PS Modules).
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Previous year assigned for additional charge as a Sr. Commercial Manager for Borouge-3 Project at Ruwais Abu Dhabi, reviewed the system and process implemented and got the output from the team and cleared long pending AED.60million invoices to client & received payments within two months.
Performed as a team leader at the time of SAP migration and implementation for the group, use to manage Project Systems, Sales & Distribution, Material Management & Business Intelligence & Business Objective modules completed the project within time & cost, with the help of ERP our reporting made more easy and affective.
Supporting for other country Projects in the group as & when critical issues arises.
