• My responsibility as a Site engineer is the technical, organizational and supervisory role on construction projects
• Setting out and determining the location for above and underground infrastructure installations involved in construction operations.
• Working as part of the site management team, ability to liaise with and works alongside: architects, construction managers, engineers, planners, subcontractors, supervisors and surveyors.
--Construction water treatment station
• acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
• checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations, also ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
• liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• communicating with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
• planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
• overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site, preparing reports as required.
• resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
--Oil and Gas Industry-testing sub-base material
• Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant. Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.
• Maintains statistical process controls by applying demerit/unit, zone charting, x2 charts for distributions and individual-medial/range for multistream processes.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.
--Construction-Wastewater Treatment Station & Grid Pipes
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
• Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain
• Assist management in direct oversight of department’s daily operation.
• Involve in department’s routine operations by handling repairs and assisting management with administrative duties.
• Decide on equipment’s, materials and subcontract sources.
• Develop relations with external customers on improvement work.
