Survey Client representative for Suez Canal authority (2014 to 2015)
Position held:
Survey inspector
An out sourced Surveyor by Egyptian Company for hydrographic survey (ECHO) to Suez Canal Authority to witness and supervise all survey jobs of New Suez canal project
Tasks:
1- Full awareness of the survey terms in the contract of the project.
2- Witnessing all the survey jobs including topographic and hydrographic survey and Single beam
and multi beam survey
3- Checking the survey equipment and quality of the survey according to the contract.
4- Checking the equipment calibrations (GPS Position Check- SVP - Bar check - SQUAT test)
5- Revising all the data and charts of the survey and approving it.
6- Checking the dumping basins and water flow and the discharging of the dredgers.
7- Full awareness of the survey equipment used and survey techniques.
8- Processing the survey data and plotting the survey points on charts.
9- Approving the Final product and the paid survey results
River Nile Project
Projects:
• River Nile dredging project:
Hydrographic surveyor on a single beam survey boat.
Bar check and sound velocity check.
GPS position check using Trimble R8.
Base station setup for RTK signal.
Navigation lanes maintenance and bathymetric survey and dredging as Hydrographic surveyor
using (HYPACK) software
