Respond to internal and external customer requests for held shipments in customs in a timely and professional manner to ensure held shipments are processed efficiently.
Ensure global service excellence by achieving productivity.
Adherence to approved gateway operations / special clearance - Service Level Agreement.
Assist with resolution of the trace files where the problems specifically related to customs issues to support the prompt resolution of the files.
To gather and make available of the shipment customs clearance steps process to our customer service team.
To provide statistics and analysis to the special clearance services supervisor and the special clearance services manager to allow making informed decisions related to customers requests.
Foster team approach with all fellow team members to achieve yearly department objectives and targets.
Handle ocean import & export shipments from rate negotiation till shipment reaches destination.
Handle air import & export shipments from rate negotiation till shipment reaches destination.
Handle DDU, DDP & DAP shipments.
Acts as the intermediary acting on behalf of exporters, ensuring that goods are transported safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.
Arrange for shipments booking on different shipping lines and Airlines.
Arrange for the movement of goods from point A to point B, in accordance with the client's instructions, in the most economical, timely and safe way.
Arrange for custom clearance and needed docs with our custom broker.
Prepare all freight documents like shipping declarations, cargo orders, House B/Ls, invoices, certificate of origin ...etc. .
Rate Negotiations with different shipping lines and airlines basis shipping volume to obtain the best possible freight rates.
Follow up with our customers, keep them posted & maintain good relations.
Coordinate with the carriers to ensure cargo transported to final destination smoothly.
Responsible for Cargo projects & agreements with agents all over the world.
Internet researches & possible opportunities.
