MAF -Almaza City Center Mall Project.
Project Description:

The Project Located in Cairo's high-end suburb of Heliopolis on the north east Quadrant of the junction between the Cairo-Suez Road and Nasr Road in Heliopolis, Almaza City Centre.
The Project will feature 103, 455 Square meters of retail space, with estimated cost 4 Millard EGP.
Duties & Responsibilities
 Prepare and review detailed Construction Supervision and Quality Control Plan for client’s approval and perform quality control of contractors/ suppliers works, such as set out survey and measurement, field and tests and monitor contractors’ compliance with the Plans / regulations.
 Review of Contractor Implementation Schedule.
 Supervise all site works to ensure that the work of the Contractor is carried out in a
proper workmanship.
 Coordinate with the Client; check, approve, reject and record, as per the technical
specifications, as the following:
1- Contractor(s)' construction plant and equipment.
2- Materials of construction.
3- Testing procedures and results.
4- Manufacturing, installation, tests.
 Review and approve all submittals, including method statements, construction / shop
drawings, etc. submitted by the Contractor/suppliers.
 Monitor any emergency and unsafe conditions and report to the client for speedy
response / remedial actions.
 Inspection and Testing of Works.
 Detecting issues and investigating ways to resolve them.

•Ensure that a document control procedure is adopted to approve, review and update all changes to critical documents within the scope of the quality management system QMS.
•Ensure that records are established and maintained to provide evidence that the QMS Is being followed and that there is a system in place for the identification, storage, Protection, retrieval, retention time and disposition of such records.
•Ensure that the performance of the QMS is reviewed at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness. This review means assessing Opportunities for improvement and the need for changes to the QMS.
•Ensure that Quality Objectives are set by top management for measuring the Performance of the QMS and that these are regularly reviewed.
•Ensure that all new staff is inducted into the requirements of the QMS related to their own roles and responsibilities. Provide update training as necessary.
•Ensure that all suppliers used by the organization are selected, evaluated and reevaluated and that records of this assessment are maintained.
•Ensure that top management undertakes periodic but regular assessments of customer satisfaction and those consequent improvements are identified and implemented.
•Ensure that an internal audit program is adopted to verify that the QMS conforms to planned arrangements, QMS arrangements and is effectively implemented and Maintained.
• Ensure that appropriate action is taken when this is not the case.
•Analyze data on the effectiveness of the QMS and evaluate where continual improvements of the QMS can be made. This shall include data generated as a result of monitoring and measurement and from other relevant sources.
•Co-ordinate continual improvements of the QMS, ensuring that evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed

•Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
•Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
•Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products
•Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
•Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
•Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
•Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks.
•Writing technical and management systems reports.
•Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree comprehensive quality procedures.
•Persuading reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality methods.
•Manage and maintain the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods.
•Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the QA/QC.
•Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.
•Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
•Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
•Liaising with customers’ auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications.
•Establishing standards of service for customers or clients.
•Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
•Organize and manage quality assurance function in close co-operation with the customers and with the Company’s Management team (Member of Management Team).
•Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters

•Monitoring and controlling of contract activities and reporting to the senior on critical issues required in maintaining contractor progress according to project schedule.
•Ensures that contract procedures are followed during implementation of project.
•Effective monitoring of project activities and implementation of remedial action to maintain progress according to project schedule.
•Attending of job progress meeting with consultant & contractor.
•Ensure consultant & contractors receive their fees on time and when deserved.
•Participate in workshops and value engineering sessions, highlight all concerns to the higher management and obtain their approval, coordinate with the client as to make sure of the compliance of the design with his requirements during different design phases.
•Prepare reports on the project in hand for the concerned departments and senior management.
