As a Charge nurse and clinical facilitator, I did calls for the department, (advice, and emergency assistance to open a second OR on night duty)
Became the clinical Nurse facilitator in 2001, until i left in April 2003.
Taught neophyte registered nurses about operating room technique, and different roles, etc.
Did the scheduling for staff, a month at a time.

Responsible for the unit afternoons from 13:00 to 19:00. Also at night from 19:00 to 07:00.
On night, oversaw 2 units, i.e. male ward with 27 patients, and same number on the female ward.
Gave IV Injections. Re-sited IV Lines. Rendered emergency care as needed. Liaised with family telephonically, and during visiting hours. Liaison between different departments, and the doctors as necessary. Supervised the nurses in the units. Reports for the hospital Matron which mentioned conditions and status of all patients.
During the day, also has in-service education for the nurses on the unit, pertaining to conditions on the unit at the time.
Responsible for the Scheduled drugs, and documentation.
