•Design and implement HSE programs/campaigns upon company HSE statistics and communicate with all levels of the organization, clients and contractors to ensure the involvement of those programs /campaigns.
•Lead the process of revamping EDC QM-HSE MS to achieve ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 accreditation.

•Coach, advise and assist crews in any HSSE related matter based on EDC Safety Management System.

•Observe and enhance safety awareness and compliance with safety rules and regulations.
•Coach and train crews and supervisors in Hazard Identification. Include this topic briefly in all Pre-Tour Safety Meetings (using pictures, Safety Flashes, etc. as a prompt).
•Enhance the quality of safety meetings, pre-job safety meetings, SJA’s.
•Carry out training as requested by the QM-HSSE and the concerned Operations Manager.
•Participate in Incidents Investigations and lead the investigation if requested.

•Act as QM-HSE document controller to ensure proper handling, filing, and maintenance of all HSE-related documents.
•Support and advice on the proper implementation of QM-HSE Management System
•Assist and monitor the implementation of emergency response and drills.
•Ensure proper and timely reporting on HSE matters i.e. STOP cards analysis report, weekly HSE meetings, monthly HSE meetings, weekly HSE inspection, etc. and shall report other performance indicators as appropriate.
•Participate in QMS audits as an audit team member as per the assignment of the audit team leader
•Investigate accidents at the rigs, record such accidents and prepare necessary reports and statistics.
