Responsible for the management of all project activities, including coordination with all
trades, to ensure compliance with LEED/GSAS requirements, for the following projects:
CP07-B - Lusail Towers, Infrastructure, LRT Station, Car-Park and Landscape, Qatar.
Detailed design for various project components, including combined LRT station,
multistory underground car-park, bridge at Junction No.19, 2-level tunnel along Road A1,
and various other infrastructure services and enabling works. All project components are
targeting GSAS Certification; the LRT station is targeting GSAS 4 stars under the Railways
Typology v2.1
Centralized Customs Area, Qatar.
A Centralized Customs Inspection Area “CCIA” in the New Port Project is a standalone
facility dealing with Regional and International Cargo. The project’s dedicated land
surface in the Doha Port Project is approximately 860, 000 m², it includes 18 buildings
targeting GSAS 2 stars and 4 stars Certifications under the typologies: Commercial, Light
Industry and Mosque.
Doha Metro Green Line Elevated Section, Qatar.
The green Elevated and At-Grade project is located to the North West of Doha. It is
connected to the Green line Under Ground project. Al-Riffa station is an elevated-type
station which is located above the road. The Station is on track to achieve GSAS 4 stars
under the Railways Typology v2.1.
Al-Khor Stadium, Qatar.
Al-Khor Stadium is a unique distinctive design rich in resonance to Qatari culture. The
Stadium is designed to house the FIFA world cup 2022 competitions. The stadium will
have a capacity to accommodate 72, 000 spectators and provides the related facilities.
The site area is approximately 1, 000, 000 m2 and the Stadium total built up area 227, 000
M2. The project is targeting GSAS 3 stars Certification under the Sports Typology.
Khalifa Stadium, Qatar.
The stadium was originally opened in 1976, but was fully renovated and expanded in
2005 prior to the 2006 Asian Games in order to increase its capacity from 20, 000 to
40, 000. The intention is to expand the facility to 45, 000 spectators to make it capable for
hosting major sporting events including the FIFA World Cup 2022. The project is targeting
GSAS 3 stars Certification under the Sports Typology.
DAR New Premises in Cairo, Egypt.
Detailed design (according to LEED requirements) and supervision of construction (under
BIM management) for a new 6 floors office building located at Smart Village with a total
built-up area of 48, 635 m², and including all infrastructure and landscaping works. The

new building provides a total of 23, 700 m² of office space with maximum flexibility to
accommodate various staff categories and respective services. A car-parking space
occupies 3 basement levels, which are accessible through ramps to/from the site. The
project achieved LEED Gold Certification.

Architectural Team Leader at King Abdul Aziz International Airpor

Project management, design review (according to LEED Silver requirements), construction
management and supervision for a new airport based on a new phased master plan up to
the year 2035, comprising a new passenger terminal complex (670, 000 m²) with a
capacity of 30 million passengers per annum; facility design to cater for both domestic
and international operations, A380 aircrafts and full hub capability with latest systems
and equipment; integrated provision for a planned railway station and an automated
passenger mover (APM); support buildings and facilities, complete landscaping, major
utility networks, new landside roads and interchanges; program coordination for related
projects, including fuel tank farm, desalination plant, upgrading of existing terminals,
sewage treatment plant; and planning and infrastructure for a major landside commercial
zone, complementing the main development.

project. Works comprised all infrastructure utilities, landscaping, internal road network,
etc. Total site area: 65, 000 m². Total built-up area: 550, 000 m².
Participated in the review of architectural shop drawings for the following project:
Development of King Abdul Aziz Endowment for the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi Arabia.
Planning, design, project management, construction documents, and construction
supervision for a residential and commercial complex of 1, 550, 000 m² in built-up area on
a site area of 34, 794 m² overlooking the Haram Mosque in Makkah and accommodating
65, 000 pilgrims at peak time. The complex comprises 6 residential towers interconnected
at various levels by pedestrian bridges. The tallest tower has 76 floors dedicated to a 5-
star Fairmont hotel with 2, 000 luxurious residential bays, a large high end International
Conference Centre, hotel facilities in addition to the 4-storey "Lunar Centre" on top of
the tower that consists of a museum, library, telescope dome, helicopters control tower,
and telecommunications tower. The 7 towers rest on a podium that houses a shopping
mall, food courts, praying areas for 10, 000 people, 536 luxury studios overlooking the
Holy Haram, and a 4-storey parking area with a capacity of 780 vehicles and 10 buses.
