As the document controller, Rania has tracked and processed over 4,450 subcontractor supplied documents since her employment. These documents were from projects that ranged from major facility construction, repair workshop renovations, industrial facility upgrades and support of NAVSEA team with the Egyptian Navy. The design and implementation of an electronic filing system required Rania to map for each project categories of documents that need to be retained. This required her to work extra hours on her own to set up the system. Once it was set up, she had to scan and oversee the scanning of documents that pertained to each of the active projects. Then as an on-going project, Rania with support staff to archive completed projects documents. This effort has enabled the New Acquisitions Team of more efficiently review historical documents for trends and data capturing. All of Rania’s work and deliverables can be characterized as quite successful and having minimum issues. In those instances where issues and problems occurred, Rania expertly coordinated with fellow colleagues and subcontractors alike to resolve them, thus minimizing project impact. Rania, with her dealings with various groups and people, has gained valuable experience in not only the technical engineering aspects of the job as administration and document controller, but also in the interpersonal relationships development skills necessary to work with multiple stakeholders. Rania has dealt with short-fuse deadlines and intensified workloads, and has always proven to be up to the task.
