Responsible for timely safekeeping and monitoring the ins/out of stocky inventory of the company. Establishes the inventory database of the company. Assist in canvassing, negotiating and placing orders for approved canvass summary. Monitoring timelines of delivery through follow-up with respective suppliers. Administer contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages and insurance. Coordinates with customs brokers, overseas carrier, shipping agents and freight forwarders. Follow-up import and export shipments. Maintains an effective pool of suppliers formal buys and spot buys. Conducts regular face to face meeting with suppliers to update them of the development and specific requirements of the company when needed. Assist in finding alternative supply of critical items that will affect supply or may improve profitability. Provide technical assistance in resolving material discrepancy reports. Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists. Perform related duties as assigned by the management.
