I worked last summer as an accountant in an Insurance Broker company based in Saudi Arabia,
where first I was taught on how to operate on their Oracle Accounting program which lasted a
week and I started doing the company's Profit and Loss accounts as well as their Balance Sheets.
I was also able to claim a 250, 000 riyal check from one of the companies during my tenure with the company.
International Development studies program helped me by:- 1) Allowing me to emerge from the program with a thorough grounding in the history, debates, dimensions, institutional approaches and critiques of the field 2) Also to be able to read World Bank documents, talk the institutional language of development professionals and know how to put together and implement a development research or delivery proposal
