Responsibilities in the following projects include:
• Preparing, reviewing and administering contracts during the various stages of the construction process.
• Analyze and understand commercial conditions in preparing contracts.
• Co-ordinate with Estimator and Commercial Manager regarding key legal contract ramifications.
• Provide amendments to the original contracts.
• Prepare the contract templates based on the contract.
• Detect special circumstances or breaches of contract which have taken place.
• Investigate claims to establish responsibility based on contract provisions or onsite errors.
• Finalize claim investigation.
• Conduct claim negotiation meetings.
• Conducting post award and negotiation meetings.
• Bid preparation/evaluation.
• Replying to queries raised by bidders.
• Representing the client/contractor in pre-bid meetings, bid opening sessions and negotiation meetings.
• Preparing selection criteria for short listing of contractors.
• Conducting post award meetings.
• Coordinating on the contract process and procedures.
• Practicing successful pre bid/ post bid negotiations sessions.
• Involvement in every aspect of the projects and working closely with the core team.
• Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
• Conducting pre - tender study in contractual matters.
• Visiting the sites and collecting the relevant field data and market survey of the raw material costs, leads and specific conditions prevailing at site.
