Reporting to business manager and systems controller, I contributed to the development of multiple business-critical IT projects from inception to completion; consulted at all levels to analyse and delineate requirements and promote appropriate solutions, resulting in enhanced applications and improved support. Engaged in several modules within HR systems such as, staff personal information system, learning management system, duty travel system. Driven development projects with onsite and offshore teams.
Roles & responsibilities
Directed development activities at onsite and offshore.
Contributing to departments innovation initiatives.
Revamped development by automating Dev Ops for large-scale application.
Develop project documents including but not limited to PMP, WBS, RTM, RACI, BRD etc.
Publish reports about project status, milestones, risks, etc.
Develop human resources by conducting interviews, induction training, task assignments, etc.
Conduct meetings for steering group, status review, working group.
Control change for multiple projects under the work program.
Maintaining SharePoint project portal up-to-date.
Improved process workflows, templates and identifying new tools to benefit project.
Guided operations team in day-today activities.
Played an integral role in the conversion of legal forms from existing 10.2 version to 11.3 (Studio) version; developed word resource document, redesigned forms in RP studio 11.3 Environment and created / amended new COBOL programs:
• Gathered, analysed and disseminated requirements and forms coded in Oracle studio Documaker 11.3 studio.
• Highlighted problem areas to facilitate prompt resolution.
• Validated Database Abstraction Layer (DAL) script.
• Oversaw the timely completion of ad-hoc administrative controls, including the preparation of casual analysis documentation.
• Forged, maintained and nurtured key internal / external relationships, conducive to both business development and service excellence.
• Created Job Control Languages (JCLs) for testing.
• Devised and administered Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLTs).
