Instructing the QC inspectors to Prepare/complete the necessary documentation prior to inspection of the Works and process accordingly following completion of the inspection.
Maintain records of completed works for interim and final payment and as-built plans.
Report and document any accident that occurs on site and notifies the Safety Inspector immediately.
Enforce performance of the work in strict accordance with the approved Safety Plan.
Assisting the MEP Manager & QA/QC Manager in performing the contractual duties on site.
Maintain a detailed record of the day’s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labor, and equipment used, etc.Coordinate with the contractor’s in charge of the work on a daily basis to advise on the proper execution of the work.Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required. Follow-up with the contractor and support in coordinating with the utility authority regarding connections whenever required. Inspect the installation works of all electrical & instrumentation items/systems as per approved shop drawings. • Coordinating with site teams to receive all work inspection requests (WIR’s) within the assigned areas and/or associated with the assigned subcontractor/s, for submission to the consultant in line with the approved inspection test plan (ITP)
• Inspecting all on-site works within the assigned area to ensure that all works are compliant with the approved Quality Management Plan of the project - both internally (before consultant inspections) and externally (inspection with the consultant)
• Conduct daily site walks and report and defects/deficiencies in works to the responsible site teams and subcontractors to ensure that all inspections are approved
• Upon return of an inspection form from the consultant, inform the responsible site personnel, whether approved or rejected.
• Ensure that all WIR’s are developed correctly and follow the approved methodology, as per the consultant agreement with the project management
• Under the guidance of the Manager, participate in weekly or monthly meetings with all subcontractors to discuss the most prevalent issues faced throughout the majority of works and agree on corrective actions that can be carried out that cause the least negative impact on work progression
• Become familiar with construction methodology for the assigned project and at what stages during the construction inspections will be required so they can be unofficially inspected, and any defects accounted for to ensure approval of inspection

QA/QC ENGINEER

• Inspecting the work as per the drawings/material approval and client specification
• Following up with the Client for Approvals (materials, drawings and others)
• Conducting materials inspection by its documents or with its physical condition / match with client specification.
• Ensure proper installations are done as per the approved design drawings and project specifications.
• Inspecting installations, Pre commissioning & commissioning of MEP Systems.
• Maintaining the documentation to the full proof of our activities including supporting documents & correspondences.
• Preparing closeout reports for MEP activities as per Projects requirements.
• Preparing Method Statements, Quality Control Procedure, Inspection Test
Plans as per Projects requirements.
• Conducting receiving material inspection of the incoming material either
with its documents or with its physical condition/match client
specification
• Preparation of weekly & monthly report and submit to Client / Consultant & Department Manager for the same.
• Reporting to the Project Manager & QHSE Manager
• Inspection of Electrical system such as Cable tray routing, cabling,
installation, termination, lighting, small power testing & commissioning of MEP works are done
as per the approved drawings.
• Inspection for underground piping for chilled water & fire fighting pipes installation, welding, insulation and testing are done as per theDesign drawings & specifications.
• Inspection for installation, testing & commissioning of HVAC system of
installation of chilled water piping, pressure testing, installation of
FCU, FAHU/AHU, Chillers and fans are done as per the approved drawings and
project specifications.
• Inspection of Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting, FM -200 (Fire suppression
system) such as routing, cabling, installation, termination, testing &
commissioning are done as per the approved drawings and as per ITP.
• Preparation of QA/QC inspection schedule for daily and weekly basis
Inspection activities over the products which comply with the present
policy statement
• Doing design reviews for all the systems
• Doing all site supervision activities

 Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site
 Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Fire Detection system
 day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors;

 liaising with clients and their representatives ( engineers ), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress;
