Responsible for the management of front office and support areas for the Global Metals business
• Ran the project and implemented a strategic new business platform 'Calypso' in the UK;
• Chaired the Business Control committee, ensuring a strong control environment and achieved a 'Satisfactory' audit rating in the review of the business by Internal Audit;
• Developed business proposal for Base Metals business and for transfer of the US operations on to the UK balance sheet for operational efficiency;
• Established a standardized procedure for review of our external custodians. This enabled getting assurance on controls and cancelling contracts not meeting standards;
• Performed a review of pricing for clearing clients relative to volumes, positioning the service as a revenue driver than an add-on service.

Transitioning from an audit role, gained business and project management experience in this role: • Led the migration project of Integrated Management Trading desk transactions (internal indices linked investment desk) to IASG desk.
