DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
❖ Review contractual requirements, technical standards, and specifications to ensure compliance.
❖ Review QHSE drawings, files, and plans, validating inspection assignment documentation.
❖ Execute or supervise inspections according to the Project Quality plan and established procedures.
❖ Monitor equipment and instrumentation for proper installation, operation, and calibration.
❖ Generate inspection reports, including non-conformities (NCRs) and other deliverables, and manage nonconformities and corrective actions.
❖ Interpret survey or inspection results.
❖ Follow security guidelines and prioritize personal safety in the work environment.
❖ Coordinate with the Client Representative for handling Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and closing rejected
WIRs.
❖ Initiate internal inspection reports and non-conformity reports (INCRs) for effective implementation of the
project quality plan, ITPs, method statements, project specifications, shop drawings, etc.
❖ Prepare routine inspection reports and conduct meetings with the construction team to address potential
problems and prevent future non-conformities.
❖ Accurately document inspection results and comments.
❖ Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for corrective action, reporting site inspections,
disqualified workmanship, and materials to the Project Quality Manager.
❖ Prepare weekly/monthly quality reports with applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established for the
project.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
❖ Provide assistance to the Project Engineer/Site Engineer as needed.
❖ Supervise, direct, and coordinate the inspection team.
❖ Conduct weekly meetings with inspectors and the Project Engineer to ensure smooth coordination.
❖ Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain detailed records.
❖ Ensure that responses to technical issues are complete and in compliance with the contract documents. Collaborate
with the Project Engineer to resolve any problems that arise.
❖ Audit inspections to verify conformity with the contract documents and contractor-submitted plans.
❖ Assist in identifying, responding to, or evaluating technical issues to maintain the project schedule.
❖ Prepare and review engineering studies using accepted principles, codes, and standards.
Project : Seeb wastewater Project Sea out fall On Shore. Client : Haya Water Company SAOC Oman. Position : QC Inspector Civil Duration : November 2013 to August 2014. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ❖ Providing professional support to the management team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and a coordinated response to clients. ❖ Exercising delegated trust and authority, using initiative according to the level of the position. ❖ Checking site conditions for suitability before construction. ❖ Observing, checking, and recording that work execution is in accordance with approved methods. ❖ Verifying that instructions are being carried out. ❖ Checking setting-out and levels. ❖ Verifying the locations of services and ensuring their protection. ❖ Recording inspections, tests, and work executed. ❖ Checking that delivered materials are as approved and properly stored. ❖ Observing site safety procedures. ❖ Measuring work done when required. ❖ Assisting in the preparation of "As Built" drawings. ❖ Undertaking specific projects as required.
