• Manage the implementation and coordination of the terminal projects.
• Submit regular daily, monthly and yearly project reports.
• Regularly assess and provide feedback and recommendations on the quality of maintenance.

-Performing Commissioning tests (Functional and Endurance) of cranes and signing the hand over.
-Maintenance Optimisation methodology (RCM & PMO2000).
-Preparing the monthly and annual reports/queries and highlight the points to consider for improvement and monitoring.
-Analysing accidents root causes and suggest new recommendations as a consultant engineer using the new Methodology (5, 8D...)
-Participating in the recruitment process for new engineers.
-Train new Engineers in inspection techniques.
-Submit maintenance consultancy services to different customers.
-Attending the health and safety accidents meetings and takes action to reduce the number of accidents/incidents.
-Maintenance and Inspection of Overhead cranes and Mobile cranes (STS, RTG, Mobile cranes etc…)
-Maintenance and Inspection of Heavy duty Automotive machines (Trailer trucks, Reach stackers, Empty handlers etc...)
- Analyzing new failures to specify necessary action plan and old failures to optimize maintenance and to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Checking the received parts against the required technical specs for approval.
-Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiate reordering when necessary.
- Condition monitoring to avoid long shutdowns of equipment.
-Direct, maintain, train and enforce the safety program for the maintenance department and ensure safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures are followed. Regularly performing HSE tests for all personnel.
-Knowledge of formal preventive and corrective maintenance systems utilizing computerized maintenance systems (Maximo, Cworks, etc...) for planning, scheduling, purchasing and materials control.
- Planning, scheduling and coordinating all routine, corrective and preventive maintenance activities for all container cranes and machinery (STS, RTG, RS, Mobile cranes…) and establishing Preventive maintenance check-lists.
- Implementing & initializing of the computerized maintenance system of new ports.
- Perform wire ropes inspection as per ISO discard criteria.
