• Perform Receiving Inspection, review the Material certificates, and dimension along with requirements. Find the NC products and Highlight / short out.
• Review the Customer drawing, procedure, Specification like ASME/ASTM/AWS/API and other requirements.
• Perform the inspection at each stage equipment’s like Drilling/ Wellhead items / Threaded Connection (API 6A/16A/16C/7-1/5CT).
• Perform In-process inspection / Final Inspection the machining items. (Visual/Dimensional Hardness/roughness, etc.)
• Witness the Hydrostatic Pressure Test and Gas Test.
• Prepare ITP as per client requirement and submit for approval.
• Evaluate the welder qualification for each WPS and maintain records.
• Perform Visual and dimensional Inspection at Before fit-up along with fabrication Drawing / WPS.
• Perform Visual and dimensional Inspection at after Fit-up along with Drawing / WPS.
• During welding, monitor the activities to meet the WPS requirements and record. (Consumable / preheat/ Interpass temperature / parameters / inter-run cleaning, etc.)
• Ensure the weld identification as per the Drawing/Weld map.
• Monitor the post weld heat treatment (PWHT) compliance with procedure and record.
• Perform and coordinate the NDT Inspection (MPI/LPI/UT/RT).
• Perform Positive material Inspection (PMI).
• Perform final Welding Inspection Visual/Dimensional as per Drawing/WPS.
• Perform Blasting and painting inspection (Blast profiles/Salt test/ WFT/DFT/ Adhesion test/Cure test)
• Co-ordinate with Third Party Inspection (TPI) & Calibration.
• Evaluate the welder’s qualification.
• Prepare the Documents along with COC.
• Coordinate with shop QC inspectors / Workshop Forman for the completion of all planned QC/Inspection/Test programs.
• Receiving Inspection from Suppliers / Subcontractors.
• Prepare the Quotation as per client requirement.
• Inspect the equipment’s like Bop & Manifold, Wellhead, Drill pipes, etc.
• Implement and Review the Procedures, ITPs, WPS.
• Perform Fit-up Inspection & Welding Inspection as per ITP and client Requirement.
• In-process Inspection, Pressure test witnessing.
• Evaluate the welder’s qualification.
• Co-ordinate with TPI / NDT Inspection.
• Find the problems and Create NCRs and Close out.
• Coordinate with shop QC inspectors / Workshop Forman for the completion of all planned QC/Inspection/Test programs.
• Measuring Equipment handing like, Vernier calliper, Micrometre, bore gauges, Thread Gauges, Hardness tester, Profile Gauges, Surface roughness, Welding Gauges.
• Prepare Inspection Reports.
• Prepare Document package along with COC.
• Supporting and coordinate to the API audit / Tender audit.
• Receiving Inspection from Suppliers / Subcontractors and MTC reviewing Identifying NC product and Vendor Inspection.
• Initial Inspection on the Received Offshore / Onshore CAMERON equipment’s like Bop & Manifold, Wellhead, etc.,
• Preparation of Disposition Report to document Inspection findings for Identifying or recommending suitable actions to repair customer equipment supplied for evaluation for repair.
• In Process Inspection of New manufacturing and rework items / NDT Inspection.
• Final and Assembly inspection (Bop, Valves, Manifolds, Wellhead, Cross, spools, etc, ).
• Pressure Test witness / Load test witness and report preparation.
• Blasting & Painting inspection and report preparation.
• Structural, Vessels, Piping, Welding, Blasting & Painting inspection.
• NCR (non-conformance report), CARs, ITP review.
• Documentation work (API, Structural, piping, welding).
• Assist QA / QC Engineer for In-house Verification & Calibration.
• Arranging for external calibration and verifying with respect to the process specification manual.
• Knowledge in WPS, WPQR, ASME codes.
• Using measurement tools such as Micrometers, Calipers, bore gauges, Ball gauges, Thickness gauge, Hardness tester, Dry film thickness gauge, Dew point meter, Surface Profile Gages, measuring tape, Welding Gauges, etc…
• Excellent knowledge’s GD&T and Drawings (Including metric & Inches Dimensions).
• Coordinate with shop QC inspectors / Workshop Forman for the completion of all planned QC/Inspection/Test programs.
• Perform all necessary activities to achieve Quality objectives set for the QHSE Dept.
• 5S maintaining.
