I am working as Café Waitress which requires the following:
o Prepare tables for guests, including the setup of silverware and glassware.
o Greet customers in a professional manner and provide education about the food and beverage menus, how menu items are prepared, the ingredients used and the different cooking methods.
o Inform customers of daily specials and taking orders.
o Check food and beverages for quality and presentation before serving to customer/s.
o Serve food and beverage to customer/s.
o Receive customer payments and process transactions.
o Clear, clean tables and coffee shop area promptly according to proper sanitation standards.
o Knowledgeable in making Daily Reports (ordering, receiving, inventory, wastage)of Pastry items.
o Basic knowledge as Barista making Coffee (hot and cold coffee), Tea, Fresh Juices, Mocktails and Smoothies.
I am working as a Waitress which requires the following:
o Waiters and waitresses must be on their feet for long periods of time.
o Professional and friendly. (Even in tough situations)
o Team player.
o Effective communication skills with guests and staff.
o Quick thinking.
o Ability to lift heavy trays filled with glassware/food.
o Basic math skills.
o Great attention to detail.
o I worked as a dining personnel which includes five different stations. (Server, Bar Person, Pantry Person, Host and Cashier).
o As a Server my primary duty is to provide good customer service, take orders and deliver food. Servers are expected to answer questions regarding the menu. I work closely with other wait staff and the kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently.
o As a Bar Person my role is to open and close the bar at the specified opening and closing times. Requisition stock as required and keep the bar stocked, to meet business needs. Clean the bar and all equipment, and maintain the bar in a clean and hygienic condition at all times and most of all serve drinks to the guests efficiently and quickly.
o As a Pantry Person I make sure that the food ordered are properly serve to their tables. Double check if the order is ready and complete. Ensure proper inventories on beverage supplies. Clean and sanitizes work station and equipment.
o As a Host my primary duty is to greet, lead and seat the guest to their table and at the same time provide them menus. I also supervise and coordinate activities of dining room personnel to provide fast and courteous service to patrons: Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners.
o As a Cashier, I’m in charge at the cash register. This would include cash and card transactions, tipping out staff and balancing the register at the end of the shift.
