Provide recruitment process and administration tasks for departmental heads for internal and external candidates in selecting the best suitable candidates, Assist with recruitment processes to enable selection of “best” applicants. new staff orientation followed by associated administration tasks.
•Support Cathay Pacific Company culture through emphasizing quality, continuous improvement, and high performance, provide advice, assistance and support to Department Head
•Overseeing all administration responsibilities for Cathay Pacific Staff based in UAE
•Ensure fair and consistent implementation of corporate personnel policies, practices and procedures. Develop and review local policies as required (COS - Conditions of Service)
•Monitor the operation of ‘Performance Management’ and work on improvement systems.
•Monitoring the Medical Insurance scheme on regular basis. Oversee the overall management of medical insurance benefits for all staff and dependents (including sourcing of suitable insurance providers).
•Prepare timely renewal of labour contracts and employment visa.
•Liaise with Finance department regarding payroll and if any adjustments required, Salary letters etc, processed HR/Admins related tasks through financial system SAP.
•Ensure the HR Admin System - People CX is maintained in a timely manner. The employee records in PCX is up to date, hence ensuring that the staff are able to avail of all self-service functions (e.g. leave application, appraisal, iJourney- staff travel benefits)
•Ensure employee safety, welfare and wellness. Encourage the use of EAP. Playing a key role to ensure the health and safety of staff is taken care of - i.e. first aid training, safe workplaces, fire and casualty preparedness, EAP provision, etc.
•Provide administrative support to Country Area Manager, Middle East.
•Ensure the BCP (Business Continuity Planning) is in place for maintaining staff records.
•Create opportunities for staff engagement and oversee the overall execution of staff events.
•Assist Service delivery of benefits to Cathay Pacific and GSA staff.
•Handling Adhoc & planned Leave Administration on daily basis. Monitor the Performance Appraisal process of CX staff.
•Execution & Maintenance of Employee letters for visa, bank, Probation, Resignation, Employment letters etc
