Understand requirements of Project HSE plan to ensure Project HSE plan and company IMS/HSE management system is implemented on Project site.
Ensure all new employees are inducted properly into the company and project site HSE rules and regulations.
Ensure communication of HSE policy, applicable legal requirements, HSE information and lessons learned to all project personnel
Schedule, arrange, and deliver HSE/B2B (Back to Basics) training effectively to site employees to increase and maintain HSE standard at site.
Maintain B2B (Back to Basics) HSE training record up-to-date using training passport in combination with training stickers and attendances.
Maintain accident/incident records for on-site and site accidents related to project employees, vehicles, in order to assist the Project management team
Lead, Facilitate, Participate in accident investigation and reporting as necessary and follow up the Preventive and corrective action
Ensure safe transportation, storage, and handling and disposal of chemicals in and out of site.
Arrange and conduct emergency drills for identified emergencies on project site and camp as per designated frequency.
Ensure compliance with permit-to-work (PTW) system as applicable.
Ensure heat stress management arrangement during hot weather and perform periodical inspection to ensure ratio of work/rest is complied with.
Ensure adequacy and readiness of first aid facilities replenish required items on time.
Ensure the subcontractors are aware and comply with Amana Qatar HSE rules and regulations on site.

Client
ensuring that HSS induction is provided to all new starters including visitors to the Project site.
Investigating and reporting all incident/accidents as per our client’s and legislative requirements ensuring that root causes are identified and remedial actions are closed out.
Providing in-house HSS training to SAE&C site personnel and if necessary to the Subcontractors, to equip them for working on the project in a healthy and safe manner.
Advising members of the project team on application of the systems and procedures when requested or when observations suggest such is necessary.
Checking that traffic management plans and diversions have suitable and sufficient signage, barricades and lighting.
Assisting in the development of emergency response plans and arrange for drills to be conducted. Participating in emergency drills ad readiness as required.
Collating statistical evidence reference lost time accidents and traffic accidents for populating SAE&C KPI returns and HSS objective performance.
Conducting daily safety inspections of all work activities in assigned project area to ensure H&S procedures and the subcontractors’ Health and Safety Plans and procedures, risk assessments and method statements.
Reviewing reports and inspection activities to determine compliance with rules and policies and to ensure the uniformed application of fire safety codes and regulations
Identifying potential Safety and Fire Hazards: Taking action and making recommendation to eliminate Hazards.
Providing technical advice and consultation regarding Fire Safety to organization
Participate in monthly internal safety meeting to carry out inspection on daily, weekly & monthly basis as per the corresponding checklist
Conducting the most complex and unusual Fire Safety Inspection
Ensure compliance with related Permit to Work (PTW) in accordance with the client’s established procedures.
Inspect through Visual observation on the project site to determine compliance with the State of Qatar’s Fire Safety Laws and Codes
Maintain a safe and productive working environment by conducting appropriate safety corrective measures, JHA, and Risk Assessment as per project
Making verbal and written recommendation for corrections of hazardous conditions
Conduct site inspection of work area & report all observations with recommendations for corrective actions.
Formulation of Emergency Strategies
Manage Safety Statistic reporting and provide regular HSE programs
Assist in developing HSE plans and ensure that the policies and procedures comply with the client’s requirements
Planning and execution of accident preventions
Organize and conduct monthly safety meetings
Implement and coordinate safety programs to maintain safety conditions of the working environments.
Prepare HSE Plan in accordance with the client’s HSE Management System
Ensure all identified hazards are properly mitigated and risks reduced to the lowest level
Communicate HSE roles and responsibilities to staff and ensure they are all adhered to.
Co-ordinate and Inspect the site Security to ensure the personnel and the equipments are well secured
Recommend, Organize, and Conduct audit programs to assess the status of workers and plant safety, industrial and environmental protection programs
Co-ordinate and conduct inspections/audits of facilities to ensure compliance to safe and good work practices in accordance to statutory requirement of gas station and machinery ACT and all safety procedures.
Assist Management in developing and implementing their HSE plans and advise on operational Safety matters related to the workers.
Ensure engagement from all offshore in the “What If” behavioral programs
Conducts / coordinates safety and first aid training, toolbox talk to educate workers about safety policies, laws and practices.
Investigates any Accident/Near miss and prepare investigation reports so as to eliminate or minimize the recurrence of such incident.
Drafts future safety plan and statement based on real-time experiences and facts.
Conducts air quality tests for presence of harmful gases and vapors at the factory and gas plant.
Maintain an effective system of joint consultation between staff and management on health, safety and environmental issues.
Prevent all injuries at the work place to the company’s Zero Accident philosophy’
Testing/Analysis of both Direct and Indirect Raw materials to the company.
Assist with other risk management and environmental issues.
