Design, implement, support, and maintain Cerner’s virtual infrastructure and hypervisors. Manage and administration of
more than 14000+ ESXi hosts (HPE ProLiant 360, 460 Gen 8, 9 &10 and Synergy 480 Gen10 blades) with working knowledge
on VMware vRA, vSAN, open stack environment.
Also Manage and provide support on Infra Windows servers hosted as Domain Controller, SCCM, DHCP, DNS, File Server,
and MDT. Nearly 190+ Windows Servers are being Managed.
• Perform daily operations tasks across storage, network, and compute systems to verify system integrity and
availability.
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware/hypervisor/infrastructure upgrades and resource optimization.
• Monitor virtual infrastructure and servers using vROps, and respond to alarms in a timely manner, preventing
client impact and performance degradation.
• Work on hardware issues with respect to - Controller, enclosure, storage drives failures, battery issue,
firmware/drivers, PSOD, DIMM failure and escalating to respective teams accordingly.
• Manage host lost connections issues - including hardware / license/ reconnection / failures etc.
• Create New DNS records for the Newly Built Windows servers or Existing servers as per request.
• DHCP Server Management (Authorize / Scope Creation / Scope Modification / Reservation / Exclusion).
• Monitor health of our Infra Windows servers using SCOM 2019 server.
• Management of the AD Objects (Users, Computers and OUs).
• Install Windows server OS (2012R2, 2016 and 2019) using MDT 8456 version.
• Work on issues related with Symantec Endpoint Protection and Backup solutions (Symantec and Veritas).
• Create/Update Project related technical documents.
• Follow ITIL process while working on Incidents, Changes and Tasks tickets on BMC Remedy ticketing tool.
• Deploy, setup, and maintain testing environments.
