I am working alongside the HR Operations Manager to manage a team of nine HR Coordinators in different Emirates; in the capacity of a team leader. In addition to guiding and supporting my team. I am also tasked with streamlining some of the existing processes to enhance HR efficiency and productivity. Responsible tasks include:
Change Management
 Document Management System (DMS) - Defining the process concerning HR and working with the vendor during implementation, and conducting the UAT before moving to production. I am the point of contact for all inquiries from the HR and Operations team.
 SharePoint - Eliminating waste by streamlining the approval process and count required to reduce the timeframe and enhance productivity.
 Oracle JDE - Automation of manual updates.
 Lean Six Sigma - implemented processes to eliminate waste that resulted in monetary
and non-monetary benefits to the organization. Thus far, we have been able to save
AED.90, 000/-. Onboarding and Deployment
 Induction, make sure that recruits undergo inductions from the health and safety, welfare, and recruitment team within 24 hours post-arrival.
 Visa medical/EID Biometric, completion of all RP requirements before 48 hours after the arrival.
 Deployment, making sure that deployment does not exceed 48 hours of employee arrival.
Repatriation
 Instrumental in streamlining the repatriation process that resulted in savings of
approximately AED.200, 000/-; by avoiding late exit and absconder cases.
 Oversee the entire cycle of repatriation and ensure that the process is completed
within ten days of FTC. In 2019 we have achieved 70% in comparison to 50% in 2018.
Policy Review and Implementation
 Review the policies and procedures and guide management and staff.
MIS & Data management
 Conduct studies on different HR metrics such as turnover, probationary success, and
disciplinary actions, on-boarding, and; generate and analyse related reports.
 Ensure that data quality & accuracy at all times on HRMS, especially data changes/
updates which have a direct impact on payroll and benefit. HR Operations
 Support the employees on a day to day concerns and any arising conflict.
 Implement and maintain the Disciplinary action Matrix in line with applicable and in
compliance with the Code of conduct and UAE Local Labour Law.
 Initiating and completing department and business unit transfer.
 Look after the medical benefit plans.
 Coordinating the yearly satisfaction survey and working closely with management and
employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and
retention.
 Coordination of leave record and ensure accurate data is updated in SharePoint and
JDE. Regularization of leaves and clarification of doubts.
 The recommendation of salary, benefits, etc., and coordinating the internal approval
process.
