Conducting field assessments on regular basis; identifying the projects’ technical and logistical needs and reporting to the management, founders and sponsors of the project.
Participate in planning, budgeting and design of the project implementation plan.
Ensure that all site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop drawings, method statements, specification and work plan,
Fully aware of the project specifications, drawings and BOQ
Request materials, tools and equipment needed from construction manager,
Control the use of material and avoid damages and waste.
Ensure that all items payable to sub-contractors are already measured & approved by the consultant,
Quantity surveying,
Trouble shouting and problem solving for instant challenges that appear during the project implementation.
Technical intervention for handling the problems that related to the implementation of the project which cannot be implemented on the ground according to the project design.
Monitoring and ensuring the quality of implementation of the project plan on the field ground, regarding the procedures, maintaining the productivity targets, in accordance to the work schedule.
Monitoring, supervising and evaluation of deployed technicians, contractors and third party companies’ outsourced staff.
Monitoring, supervising and coordinating with suppliers, services providers and vendors, ensuring the delivery of the needed logistical and technical supplies in accordance to the work schedule.
Developing progress report and documented plan for the project implementation to the management on regular basis, to be shared with the partners, sponsors and other stakeholders for the next meeting.
Reporting regular work progress, updates, needs and challenges or technical problems to the direct supervisor and head office.
Maintaining effective communication with the projects’ founders, sponsors and stakeholders.
Perform any other tasks by the company director or the executive engineering manager.
